Worst place ever. This place SUCKS. Bad service and BAD management . one time i went there and they cancelled my reservation without my authorization and i talked to the manager and he told me that it was my problem : / the food and drinks are overpriced, the hookah as well. the hookah is 25$, compare to other places thats too much, you can get a hookah for max. 12$ in any other place
The best lebanese restaurant in houston. all the foods we ordered were delicious the entertainment and the belly dancer were spectacular! In my opinion it is one of the finest Lebanese restaurants in town!
great little place waiting for more clientele.
I saw Café Byblos' ad in the Houston Press one day, conveniently at a time when I was looking for a new Hookah place to try out. My friends an I were really impressed with the interior of the restaurant, but saw that it was quite dead. The service was good, but the waiter took some time to get to us since he was the only one there.
Another draw back of the restaurant was that since indoor smoking wasn't allowed, so we were moved outside on the patio, which wasn't a big deal but the patio seemed really isolated and far away from the restaurant.
The prices were great, my friends and I weren't hungry for much, so we just got an appetizer, fries, and one of the sandwiches. They were all really delicious (especially the fries-- they were beautifully golden and thickly cut.) The waiter was very friendly, and another man, who my guess would be the manager or owner, was a great character as well. We went on a Thursday, and there were belly dancers performing that night. It was a great experience, and I really hope the word spreads out about this place, since it's heartbreaking to see it so empty.
Great, affordable fun.. Great place for good food, affordable meals (setting aside my disdain for paying for forced valet parking) and good entertainment. Sometimes the service can be SLOW if it gets busy, but overall its great.
Great Lebanese Restaurant!.
Finally, an upscale Lebanese restaurant has come to Houston! Cafe Byblos is new, and so far it seems to be a hidden gem that not many people have heard of. The restaurant is quite large, with a nice decor and plenty of banquet seating, as well as a number of tables that look onto a stage. They have live belly dancing and shows, which I generally don't love, but since the belly dancer didn't bother us, I enjoyed it.
We tried several of their appetizers (hummus, cucumber and yogurt, grilled eggplant) and they were all delicious! Our entrees were kabobs with different meats, and they were all cooked to perfection. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and it's friendly staff, including Sam, who seems to be an owner. He came to our table to make sure we were enjoying everything, and to tell us about all of the entertainment that the restaurant has.
We will definitely be back!
