Pretty Nice Place. This place is actually one of my favorite lounges in houston.. The bouncers are pretty nice, i'm under 21, but they always let me in.. I really like the place.. There is a pretty decent crowd and the lounge is well managed.

Excuse My "French". To Whom It may Concern.......What in the Fu__ (excuse my french) is wrong with this place! I went with friends to TRY to party at this place on a Thursday and comes to find out!.... This place has a beautiful layout, outside was great water fountain, ect., ect.! Great Feng Shui! But how ghetto! The music was awful! What's up with the sound system? The door guy was very rude! What is up with that! I went to go buy drinks for my friends and I. Three drinks to be excact! My bill came to 37.50 for THREE import beers! Ok..somethng is not right here! $12.50 for each BEER! Give me a FN break! Excuse my french! How are you gonna charge someone 12 dollars and something cents when this place is not really happening! Whatever! Something is majorly wrong with this place! Anyways, we were walking out of the club and a guy gave us a flyer for Wednesday night. He said it will be 80s music! I love 80s music! Against my better judgement, several friends and I went on this Deja Vu party on May 12th and had a blast! Great music! We met some bald headed dragqueen! Wow! Anyways, we had so much fun and came back the next week , BUT the stupid place was closed! What is wrong with this place! We ended up going down the street Soma and had a great time! I don't think we will be going back to Blue Label!

Sign: Whatever!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Outside Blue Label, palm trees surround the spacious patio where blue-lit fountains and strategically placed speakers help make the outdoors an inviting spot to enjoy a cocktail from the convenient patio bar. The aqua-lit interior is louder, thumping to the DJ's house music, and two dance floor platforms lie in the center of the lounge for when the party heats up. At the bar, a waterfall pours down a sheer face just behind the attractive staff. The patrons bring their good looks to the party, as well, and are often mingling at the shared mirror and sinks beside the bathrooms.

Horrible experience. It was an awful expreience. We actually saw a 6 foot 5 bouncer throw a girl about a 1/3 of his size down on the ground with a loud thud. His story was that the girl attacked him, but there was no reason for that sort of violence against a girl. It was so disturbing!!! We will never go back there again.

One word....... BAD!. Don't even bother with this bar.... for starters the bouncer is very rude and ignorant........ the place is too small and the music is not all that great either.

I will make sure they close soon!!!. I did not even get out of the car,. The problem began as I valet ., and was sitting in the car for more than 5 minutes with the Asian looking guy standing there without saying a thing finally ask if he could help and you would have thought a commuted a crime ., I'm. Hispanic and reading the other reviews it explains it .. I'm a fire Marshall and I notice a few item that call my attention .. Lesson learn: u never know who u r being rude to and what that might cost you see u soon in an official matter ..

Feels Like Home. Let me start out by saying, wow, I was completely impressed with this lounge this past Saturday night for a Houston nightspot. I am in town from Manhattan for a couple of weeks on business and was eating at Soma right down the street and asked one of the waiters where a classy, bar/lounge I could go that was fairly close by. Immediately he suggested Blue Label Lounge. After eating dinner I got into a cab and headed that way. Let me tell you, I have been to many bars, restaurants, lounges, clubs all over the U.S. and abroad, this place, by far, felt like home. Everything was right on, the music, the crowd, the bartenders and the drinks. I'm a smoker so I spent a lot of time outside and I met a bartender named Mark that is from New Jersey, so friendly and so approachable, so there again, I felt like I was right at home. Good thing about the outside bar is that it's cash only, so being from New York, I am completely used to that with cab fares, bar cover charges, etc. So all in all, I would and will definitely recommend Blue Label Lounge to all of my friends and colleagues when they visit Houston.

Avoid this place. My girl friends and I were planning on celebrating one of my friends' 30th birthday at this particular lounge. We were an appropriately dressed group of 6 and one male, all either Indian, Vietnamese and Mexican. We had a hard time parking so we ended up valeting. But much to our dissappointment we stood at the beginning on the line for 20 minutes, as several Caucasion people were ushered into the door without any question. The bouncer nor the police officer, offered any explanation. We tried telling the bouncer that it was my friends 30th birthday, but he really didnt care that 5 girls were freezing right in front of him. We ended up walking next door, and turned away because of a "private party". Anyways we ended up leaving, no refund on the valet and very upset. I have never had a problem getting into a club let alone with a group of 5 girls, and on top of that it was someone's birthday. It was blatant racism at its core, so unless you are Caucasion, or have a couple among you that are, good luck getting in!
