Delicious!. This was the first time I've ever been to Genghis Grill. The concept looked interesting and me and my boyfriend decided to try it. The only con I have is that after we were seated, our server never came over to our table. It was after nine on a Saturday night and business was slowing down so there were a lot of servers just walking around as if they had nothing to do. Not knowing how things worked, we waited until we had to wave someone over to be served. The server came over and explained to us how to order our food and took our drink orders. After that, things went smoothly and we enjoyed the food.

Fun new adventure. Upon entering Genghis Grill for the first time, I was politely shown to a table and given a brief orientation of how the Genghis Grill ordering process works. You are escorted to the grill creation choosing line, which is built to include 5 steps. First you use your stainless steel bowl provided to pick one or several proteins from among about a dozen offerings, including shrimp, baby scallops, calamaria, marinated steak, chicken, ham, etc. Secondly, you add one or more of about a dozen different asian or comon spices available for your choosing. I choose ginger spice, lemon ginger, and a pinch of salt. Thirdly, you add your own mixture of vegetables from among about 20 vegetables available at thebar. Fourth, you pick one of among about 15 sauces to be added to your meal. Then you hand over your creation to the chef who adds your fifth choice of one of five or six starches, such as steamed rice, udon noodles, etc. You return to your table with a number, and your asian food creation is brought to your table in minutes, piping hot for your enjoyment . And wow! I have to say that my creation turned out better than just about any asian dish I have ever eaten! I truly loved the experience, the excellent service and the atmosphere. I will definitely be returning again soon.
