Average Waxing. I went here last week for a Brazilian wax, and I must admit I was disappointed. First of all, my appointment was delayed by 30 minutes. I actually got there 15 minutes early, and ended up waiting 45 minutes! Then, I finally went in for my wax, and the lady was not friendly. I asked her to use blue hard wax, but she said that takes a longer time, so she would use the soft wax. That's clearly not what I wanted! Then, she went so quickly, and didn't even ask me to have a look before she finished up and walked out. I noticed a ton of spots she had missed but she had already walked out and was waiting at the Receptionist's desk. I felt like she didn't take her diligent time despite making me wait 45 minutes, and then she didn't listen to my request. Also, I would appreciate having a look before re-dressing to make sure I am happy with the service. I will not be going back to Shea, unfortunately.

1st time getting a facial. It was my first time getting a facial at this spa, and it was not so great. The lady who did my facial did not clean my face thoroughly, by the time I walked out of the spa I still had residual on my face and my hair, not to mention, I paid for a "60 minutes facial" , it was over in 45 mins. In addition, I had to wait 30 mins for the appointment.

Beautiful Spa, Great Services, Excellent Value. I've been going to Shea Essence for a couple of months now and just love it. It is a very clean spa, the facials and massages are amazing! I tried the sauna before my massage the last time and I loved it. It made my massage even better. You have to check out this spa. There is a great Mediterranean restaurant next door for lunch or dinner!

Great service, even better value. ‎Me and my girlfriend went for the double delight package and were simply wowed. The girls are very friendly, and do their jobs very well. Lynn probably does the best nails I've ever seen. Massage was also excellent. We're definitely going back soon.

Follow Up. I've complained, but now I feel that the right thing to do is post a follow up to confirm that my issue has been resolved. Theodora called me several times to resolve, and it took a number of attempts on her part before I spoke with her. I only wanted to pay for service I received, nothing more, nothing less.

Peace and Relaxation, Thank You Shea Essence. Its a quiet place, very relaxing, hor'duerves/cocktails are great, Spa and tools are very clean so I know there are no bacteria issues like with a lot of places. owners seem to pay a lot of attention to quality of their staff and products are also a better quality than I have experienced. Been a few times and will keep going. No long waiting and they accomodate you quite conveniently.

Great place to go for nails. I came here to vote for Shea Essence as the best Spa in town and thought I'd leave a review. I go there often to have my nails done and the technicians are so courteous and professional. And honestly, I haven't seen a better French Polish application anywhere else.

Excellent massage therapists. The people at this spa really know what they're about. I go to a spa to relax and unwind, and they seem to understand that. I go for massages frequently and I'm never rushed, always leaving refreshed and energized.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. From the decor, and the very personalbe people working there. Everything was very inviting and professional. It was a little difficult to find at first, but very pleased once I did. I like to think of this as Sugarlands best keep secret. I can't wait to go back!!! Ohh lets not forget the wine! Thats ALWAYS delicous!!

I'd go again in a heartbeat. My visit was a positive experiance all round. Must be something in the water :) Seriously though, I really like this place. It has a calming atmosphere - and that massage therapist - she's awesome.
