“This has got to be my new favorite small neighborhood restaurant in Sugar Land - definitely good enough for many return visits, and best of all you can BYOB!”

Cute neighborhood wine bar with patio seating.
I came here on a Monday night for the Steak and Lobster special, only $19.99, a super bargain. The weather was perfect and I got my choice of seating on the nice patio with bright green umbrellas. I brought 2 bottles of wine because you can BYOB for a $10 corkage. The waitstaff was efficient and quick and without much ado we could sit back, relax, and enjoy our wine.
I really enjoyed the fact that the main restaurant opens up into the large patio, which becomes an extension of the restaurant - very reminiscent of Sunset blvd in LA or a Newbury Street eatery in Boston. We enjoyed our meal so much we stayed for 3 hours (7-10pm). The steak and lobster special came with a side of garlic mashed potatoes or baked potato (see picture), and for $19.99 was a great bargain. The food quality wasn't exceptional but it was very good for the price, certainly as good if not better than a Red Lobster meal which will run you $23.99 for the surf n turf special. Our dessert, a 6 layer choclatey chocolate cake served with whipped cream and strawberries, was decadent and delicious at $8, and perfectly complemented my Amarone red wine.
On weekends they have nights with live music, and I hear it's hard to find a seat in the house, so if you want to enjoy the warm weather and a leisurely meal, come during the week or do what we did and come on Monday night. This has got to be my new favorite small neighborhood restaurant in Sugar Land - definitely good enough for many return visits, and best of all you can BYOB!
Friendly, cozy, good food. Been to Reef, but will probably revisit Napa Grille first. Why? Food is not stellar, but the waiter and just all around friendly vibe make up for any minor food issues: green beans very tasty, but too much salt. Chicken Alexander quite good, but a little too much "sauce" on the plate. My husband loved his crab cakes. Live music was very good. We've been looking for that small intimate restaurant that we can call home. Napa might just be the one.
First time there, and not the last one!. What a gem! The food is excellent and the prices are definitely cheap in comparison to the high level of this place. The music could be a bit loud but go early and you will have a nice and quiet experience. The staff is very professional too. That was the first time my husband and I went there and it is definitively not the last!!!!! A+
Great Food and music. Had a great dinner with my husband. Server was perfect and everything he suggested was great. We will make this our regular Tuesday dinner spot. Thank you Daniel and Bonnie.
Good for drinks.
First of all, this is a wine bar. They serve food as an after thought. Interior decor is very casual, wait staff is junior, steak and lobster night is priced right - $20, and the food menu is diverse. But there really was not anything outstanding about our visit, so we are left wondering why we would return. Would have been nice if the owner stepped out from behind the bar to meet us or ask about the service / food. The place was not crowded.
Next time, we'll go to Perry's Steak House and then walk over to the Town Square for a after dinner wine selection.
