After reading such great reviews and
hearing the same from friends, I finally tried the Wax Spot last week. Christie did my Brazillian and she was great! The blue wax, her technique, and her bubbly personality all helped make the experience a great one. This was only my third wax ever and I had been skeptical about making consistent appointments because of the cost combined with less than desirable results I'd had previously, but after my experience with Christie and the Wax Spot, I'm going to make it a regular thing!
In general, the location is great - an adorable Heights house, quiet and calming interior, and a lovely distracting TV in the room! :)
Definitely worth every penny!

Best wax in Houston.
Fantastic experience!
Angelica did a wonderful job, putting me at ease and making this pretty much painless - not what I am used to with previous Brazilian waxes. I am so grateful to have found this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable waxing experience.
The location is convenient, the staff are incredibly friendly and professional, and the environment is comfortable and spotless. Loved it!

The Best Experience.
This was my second Brazillian ever. And the first was 6 years ago. So, I was very nervous all over again. I arrived with my cousin (who had never had anything waxed, but her eyebrows.) As soon as we arrived we were greeted and checked in. Angelica was very friendly, made a great impression on the both of us. I saw Stacy for my services, and she was awesome. It was not as painful as I remember. But, I think that is due to the type of wax and technique that she used. She was very friendly and professional. The both of us will be going back, as we have found our "Go to Girls" for waxing!!!

Wonderful experience!. This was my very first bikini wax and I was a bit nervous. Christie put me at ease immediately and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. The house is super cute and clean and the experience was great. Pain level was minimal - that blue wax is amazing. You owe it to yourself to try this place out. I know I'll be returning!

Good experience. Couple of my friends had recommended I check it out..finally went..GREAT experience! Super comfortable environment and friendly staff! I've gone to several different wax places in the past...this has been the best by far!!

Angelica is Awesome!. Angelica does a great job! Even while pregnant (and extra-sensitive) the experience is almost pleasant! I can also get in and out on my lunch hour which is very convenient. Love it!

FANTASTIC!!!. I decided to get a brazilian wax for the first time. In fact, this was my first time ever waxing in that sensitive area. I was a bit scared after hearing some horror stories, but I read the other reviews on this website and decided to go for it! I made an appointment with Christie. It wasn't painful at all!! Truth be told, there were a few sensitive spots, but nowhere near what I had expected. I left with a smile on my face. I plan on going back for more brazilian waxes and am telling everyone I know to go see Christie, too!! You won't be sorry!!

A very pleasant experience.
As someone (and especially being a guy) who'd never been for a wax before, I was understandably apprehensive prior to my appointment.
I needn't have been. Christie was extremely friendly and professional and really made me feel at ease.
I've been back since, and in fact I'm now onto my third visit.
Located in a nice area of the Houston Heights, this place is a bit of a hidden gem. I highly recommend The Wax Spot to anyone.

The BEST place to go. I have been to a few other places before, but after going to "The Wax Spot by Angelica"...this is the only place I want to go for my waxing needs! Definitely the BEST Waxing place for smooth skin!

The Wax Spot. The location is good and the staff is friendly. I have been waxing for years and needed to find a new location that was central and fast because I like to go during lunch. They worked with getting me in and out quickly and scheduled me in at the last minute. I thought it would be difficult to start using someone new but now I am glad I did!!! Christie made me feel comfortable and their technique made my wax last longer. I will definitely start making this my new wax spot!
