I have tried a number of places to get
a haircut. Overall, I find Rooster's to be a pretty great establishment. The staff is friendly and there are several employees there who I can comfortably sit down and trust they will do a great job. I like the theme of the place, featuring elements of a "traditional" barber shop. Little touches like hot towel face treatment and aftershave lotions reminiscent of sandlewood allow even tough guys to relax and get a little attention... without feeling "pampered". It's a shame they can no longer serve beer, but for my monthly trim, Rooster's is a nice stop where you can tell that the business model is "We treat men like men." Definitely the kind of place every guy should try once; I think you'll become a regular.
Not a good place.
I used to go there around 3 times a year for the past 2.5 years. Every time I go there, there are new faces. I liked a guy called Danny but he is not there no more. The new barbers remained very quiet when i asked about him. I didn't think much but then I noticed how bad their service are becoming. I finally found out that the barbers are mad at the owner who cheated on their contracts, and of cause the good ones left. My hair looked so bad that I had to go to a different shop to get it fixed.
I wish I read the other review before I went. I am thinking the first one from way back maybe about Danny- who did a good job to my hair too.
Well, I will never return and hope this helps others!
STAY AWAY!!!! CAUTION.
I went to pick up my boyfriend from his haircut here. We noticed that his the front of his hair was very uneven so we went back inside to get it fixed. The hair stylist yelled at him saying, "Well, what do you want?!?!?! " He thought he didn't make a mistake and started to argue with him. My boyfriend never yelled or yelled back at this man. He had no reason to raise his voice. He did end up fixing his hair, but he was angry the whole time. It was a horrible experience. I would definitely would never recommend anyone coming here. I believe barber might have been the manager of the place.
The Ultimate Barbar Shop.
This shop was wonderful. Clean, professional, and customer product -- more of an stylist set up. I received a haircut of my choice, edge, message and much more for $26 but the bread trim was $12 with tip I spend $41.00. I felt good and look and smell good according to my wife. I can't afford this weekly but monthly for the pampering is worth it. Only thing they need it is a med and ped shop but one it next door. Highly recommend!!!!
