Good people watching crowd. I really like this place. It has a very diverse crowd and is very unpretentious. It's nice to get away from the stilettoed blondes and meatheads in tight shirts that frequent the more "upscale" bars in Houston. Chill place where you don't have to worry about guys creepily staring at you and no dress code. You can hang out on the patio or dance upstairs. Warning: the upstairs bar charges more for drinks then the downstairs bar. Also, the bartenders here do not serve ladies first like other places. Good for guys, not great for girls who hate to wait.

Former gay club brings a rock and roll dive bar hangout to the Montrose area.. In Short
This two-story club welcomes the tight pants, I'm-with-the-band crowd (although most nights there's a healthy mix of local nightlife) for plenty of people-watching and a killer jukebox. Expect local and touring DJs to fill up the tiny upstairs dance floor on the weekends, while the bartenders fuel the party with PBR and potent cocktails. There's generally no cover for live bands on Monday nights. Escape to the outside patio for a quieter environment.
