Editorial Review for Fuegovivo Churrascaria – by Andrea Loera

In Short
Meaning "roaring fire" in Portuguese, Fuegovivo offers a marathon evening filled with fire-grilled meats until your stomach begs for mercy. Executive Chef Karlo Solyom (by way of Brazil) stays true to the flavors of the region offering a massive, two-tiered salad bar piled high with 50-plus varieties of salad, grilled vegetables, South American cheeses and side dishes. Well-informed gauchos (waiters) breeze from table to table slicing beef, pork, lamb, chicken and sausage cooked over an open fire straight onto your plate.

User Reviews for Fuegovivo Churrascaria

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

My wife and I have been going to Fogo Da Chao for years and always enjoyed it. BUT we believe we have found a better Churrascaria in Fuegovivo. The food has a wonderful flavour, even their sausage and chicken was great, is perfectly cooked and the servers are delighted to give you as much as you want each time they come to your table, which is often, when you card is green. Assortment is on a par with other high end Churrascarias so we did not feel anything was missing. My wife is fond of Lamb chops and she was blown away with the flavour she experienced. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is much more relaxed than Fogo and they do not rush you with the bill in order to move you out ASAP so they can use your table again. Parking is adequate. We highly recommend it and if you want to impress somone, take them there, we will be regulars.

Pros: The food and the people

Cons: none

1 Star Rating: Not Recommended
