Kathy makes you feel comfortable from the beginning, and is easy to talk to. She is understanding and gives you tools to use to help with your situation. I like that she is a Christian and will incorporate those values into the discussion if you want. She really helps you to understand what is going on and how to fix it.
Wonderful counselor

When my wife and I decided to seek professional help, we chose Kathy based on her stellar reviews and her own personal history. Having never seen a counselor before and being afflicted with that XY disorder, I was pleasantly surprised when my skepticism was dispelled during our first visit. Kathy created a warm and caring environment where both my wife and I felt comfortable discussing all of our concerns. She quickly homed in on the causes of our unhealthy dynamics and patiently taught us techniques to bring us closer together. I have learned so much about myself over the course of our visits.
Kathy's passion is to teach others love and improve the quality of their lives, and at this she excels. Couples in need of guidance and individuals seeking answers should look no further.
- Pros: Knowledgeable, caring, patient
- Cons: none
Professional Caring Counselor

I recently started visiting Kathy for her to help me through the end of my marriage. When I started, I was having trouble understanding my life and could not cope with many of my feelings. Within one visit, Kathy helped me process my feelings, understand where my life was going, and encouraged me to improve myself. I felt instantly at ease with Kathy and felt her experience allowed her to fully understand the issues I was facing. As a male who has never been to counseling before, I was somewhat skeptical if seeing a counselor would be worth my time and expense. I now know that speaking to a professional who actually cares about her clients and can offer objective, personal advice on how to deal with my problems has been invaluable to my healing process. I would highly recommend Kathy Pardue to anyone facing marriage or other issues who feel that their personal problems may be too overwhelming or difficult to understand.
Assesses needs, works with you, patient

My husband and I had come to an impasse and were in desperate need of help. I chose Kathy primarily because of her years counseling. We needed someone, who over the years, would have dealt with many different types of personalities, including very difficult ones. Although we have seen Kathy just a few times and those few sessions have been a roller coaster ride, the sessions have been extremely helpful. Kathy has provided us with very specific guidance. We've noticed subtle changes, at home, in our behavior. Changes that make things better between us. The guidance Kathy gives us makes sense, intellectually and emotionally. It translates at home. She's patient, She works with you. She's helpful.
- Pros: Provides specific guidance in achieving your goals
Great Counselor!

My husband and I have been looking for a marriage counselor and selected Karis Counseling based on great reviews. During our initial visit I was pleasantly surprised with Kathy's professionalism, knowledge and positive energy. She did not take sides, but helped to identify the issues that needed to be addressed, demonstrated high emotional intelligence and logical ways in conflict resolution.
Both, my husband and I felt very comfortable talking to Kathy during group sessions as well as on an individual basis. She has a very positive approach, provides honest and helpful feedback and comprehensive suggestions on how to resolve our problems. I would highly recommend seeing Kathy if you are facing difficulties and unresolved conflicts in your marriage.
- Pros: Professional, knowledgeable, friendly
