Fantastic. After a nightmare of a haircut at Josephine's, I sought out Cecilia at Wen Chic to salvage any chance I had at a good hairstyle.

Two days prior to my appointment with Cecilia, I received a freaking MULLET from a stylist at Josephine's. Unable to deal with the mullet any longer, I scheduled my appointment.

The salon is beautiful, and incredibly busy which was a great sign. The shampoo area is wonderful and modern, with new chairs up-to-date with salon technology. I could truly go on and on about how impressed I was by the aesthetic of the salon, but the most important part of this trip was the service.

Cecilia immediately understood my concern with my hair. My long hair-turned-mullet could no longer stay long, and I realized that before my appointment. I chose three images of short hair that I liked, and told her to choose the style that would look best on me. She knew exactly which style I needed, and executed the haircut perfectly. I have received more compliments regarding my hair in the past few weeks than I have in the past few years.

My mullet was kind of a blessing in disguise. If I didn't have such a horrible experience, I probably wouldn't have met my new stylist, Cecilia. I fully intend on continuing to visit her, and sending all of my friends and family members to her as well! I'm in my early 20s, and I feel youthful again. It's truly amazing how a bad hairstyle can drag you down...and how the right hairstyle from the right hairstylist can be just as effective as a face-lift! :)

My husband could not believe the transformation. I have been wanting a wave in my hair for 6 months and I was doing research and trying to find the best spot. I got the Japanese wave and Wenny did an awesome job. My hair got really thin from gastric surgery two years ago and I had a problem finding the right style as I always just put my hair up and on the go.

My wave turned out amazing!!! It didn't take too long and my hair feels so much fuller and it has LIFE. My husband was in such awe and he was worried that I would like too 80s..but this was not the case at all.

The staff was very friendly and very professional. What intrigued me was their use of technology to get the right specification for the hair color and cut. Everything was super organized and the salon was very clean.

Beware of this salon. I thought I had finally found a salon to go to escpecially it being an "Aveda salon", but only to find a nightmare. While receiving a facial, the table they placed me on was a "cheap portable" table (that's right, hard to believe at an Aveda salon) and it collapsed while I was laying flat on my back. I thought initially I had broken my leg. My body was bruised from hitting the equipment they had stored next to the bed and the wall. My leg was not broken, but I sustained a herniated disc & now have a malformed thigh that will require corrective surgery and will leave a permanent scar. I am in pain at some level each & every day & have to wear a neck collar when the pain is excruciating. My life as I knew it, has changed for the rest of my life. The owner never came back to check on my and never asked how I was doing while I was laying on the floor. No one called me an ambulance. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. Never take for granted when you walk into someone else's establishment that they are concerned for your well being & safety. Wen Chic has never taken responsiblity nor have they apologized. They have never checked on me to see how I was or even offer a refund! This business does not even deserve 1 star in my opinion.

Bravo to Wennie. Owner- Wennie made a bad haircut terrific. It was exactly as I had hoped. It has natural movement, falls into place perfectly, easy to style & hip!

Many thanks to her for a much better..true Aveda, experience. Bravo!
