F Grade from BBB and F- from me. A+ Maid Service has a grade of F on the BBB, and for good reason. I regret that I did not see that before I hired them. They made my place DIRTIER than it was before, if that can be believed. You can see their footprints on my hardwoods, smeared mop stains, debris in corners and everywhere, and a whitish smeared residue (looks like they used a dirty rag) all over my stovetop and wood furniture. I've used only two other maid services for the past 8 years, and they were both far superior. (I thought I'd try a new company when I moved to a new house.) I asked for a refund, based on the promise offered by the mgr. guaranteeing their services prior to the cleaning (and before receiving my payment), but they refused when I asked if they could honor the refund.

I reluctantly agreed to a re-clean, but the next day, they bizarrely changed their minds about the re-do, saying that "too much time" had elapsed since the initial cleaning (almost 2 weeks) and required that I pay another full charge for the re-do, or they could only possibly do a partial and "re-vacuum some spots." But the whole house needed re-cleaning as my entire hardwoods and furniture had the smeared residue. (The only reason it took almost 2 weeks to arrange the re-do was because the company and I played phone tag, they took a few days to return my phone call saying that they needed to check with their area supervisor, and there was also a weekend in-between. I initially made my complaint immediately, the next day after the cleaning, so the timing was not my fault.)

On top of it all, Susan, the Houston manager, hung up on me when she asked if I was calling her a liar about the promise for a refund that she made and I answered, "Yes." It was wierd that she was the one who was extremely irate, when I had all the reason to be upset, and she should have been apologetic, if anything. That left me speechless -- no other maid service or company has ever been that rude, disrespectful, and downright intentially misrepresentative. These people are not just unprofessional, but should not be in business because they are not really in the cleaning business. They are in the business of getting as much money as possible from unsuspecting people.

I should have noticed the red flag when they called me several times and were so eager to charge my credit card number -- prior to the cleaning -- and promising a money-back guarantee that doesn't exist. Notice that of the 6 Google reviews, all but one (from the company itself), are negative. I can only imagine that the other flagrantly positive reviews were written by employees, family, or friends of the owner or manager. There are plenty of other maid services in Houston that are reputable and legitimate.

They stole my clothes!. DO NOT USE! WE LOST HUNDREDS OF $$$ BC OF THEM

Paid for cleaning prior to moving. Was in the process of finishing to move closet. When returned to check on the place, they hadn't clean the kitchen (which was specifically requested to be cleaned). Went to grab clothes out of the closet to find that they were all GONE! Clothes had been hanging up, so clearly someone was coming back for them. The company never tried to call. Tried every day for one week to talk to mgmt/owner. Never was helped.

Check out their Better Business results. They just don't deal with complaints.

Poor Customer Service. Although their cleaning service is above average, their customer service is poor. When I asked what types of payment methods; they told me that I can use credit card and that they would charge prior to each cleaning. Without approval, my credit card was charged for two additional services. I called them and email them several times for a week to get this corrected and it was never corrected. I have even spoken to the owner who stated that she was going to correct the problem asap. Well needless to say, nothing was corrected. I am very very disappointed with them.

Never Showed Up. I was told all the right things when speaking to A+ Maids but when it came time for them to clean our house, they never showed up. And to make matters worse, no one was there when I called - about a billion times. I left several messages to find out what happened and no one returned my call. Then I tried calling again later that night and was treated so rudely. They didn't even apologize and said they didn't know what happened and hung up. So the following week someone called me back and said the cleaning staff couldn't get to my house because the traffic lights were out. Well, that was a big fat lie because it was a month after the hurricane and every single light was working - and even when lights weren't working, we still drove. The worst part is the lack of customer service. Don't waste your time with this company - you will be sadly disappointed.

They are now in dallas too!. The love of my life just moved in and what a pig! ;) Actually he isn?t too messy, but I told him I am not a maid. If you are looking for a new relationship equalizer, get a maid. What a difference A+ maid service has done for us. I can keep the sox off the floor but when it comes to vacuuming 1400 sq feet of loft space and mopping floors after working all day, I think not. These cleaning ladies came in and got mirrors shiny, my floors scrubbed everything cleaned out, sheets changed and even took out my trash! Love this maid service! If you are looking for a cleaning crew to equalize your new roommate situation I highly recommend A+ maid service. They have fair pricing ( I actually found them lower than others) , they were on time ( very important in my world) they did a fantastic job and now I am on a set schedule with them and soo looing forward to them coming again. Thank you for coming to Dallas A +! ( they have been in Houston for years, that?s how I know of them) . Call today, you will not be left behind in the dust!

three maids!. I called for a maid and got three! The sent in a crew that cleaned my place from top to bottom, orginized my fridge, and made my bathroom sparkle. I too used the new offer they have and now I am on a bi-weekley rate for great service. I loved the gals they sent as well. I hope this maid service can keep these three maids, they were the best I ever had!

Fantastic!. I used A + Maid service yesterday for my new house keeping service and what a difference! They cleaned out my oven that had not been cleaned in two years and it looks fantastic. They also cleaned my fridge, floors dusted everything, scrubbed my bath which is now white and shiny and vacuumed my 1400 sq foot loft at a very reasonable price. I have not had a maid r house keeping service before, so I was unsure what to expect. Now this was an initial house keeping service, but the routine cleanings should be easy for hem now! I am in Dallas, but if you need a housekeeper in the metroplex, they have locations all over Texas so call. A+ Maid Service Exceeds Expectations!. I have been doing business with A+ Maid Service 3 years now and they have always been professional and attentive to my needs. Office staff is very polite and always accomodating. It is a pleasure doing business with a company that says "Yes" when I call. I highly recommend A+ Maid Service to all my friends.
