Editorial Review for Citizen Lounge – by Andrea Loera
In Short
Primarily top-shelf drinks and specialty cocktails are the order of the day (or rather, night) at this Heights lounge filled with 30-something professionals mingling in the attractive space. Décor is sexy and refined including stone walls, leather furnishings and dark woods with dimly lit chandeliers. In-house DJs spin low-key lounge music as clubgoers mingle among tables, eschewing the groping and grinding common at other local nightspots. A pair of elevated VIP booths draws envious looks.

This club does racial profiling, the bouncer and the owner are racial @ss holes! the crowd is bad.. the drinks are alchoal free and only the owner "bobby's" friendz are welcomed.. so if ur black, asian, hispanic or Indian.. forget it, do'nt waste ur $10 valet nor see that f@#k@# bouncers face.. that guy needs implants and a stylist in the first place..he thinks he is super cool but he'z not!! .. too many great places around like the drake, zaza and saez n zouk! to go too.. take my advise and ban CITIZEN!!
Pros: NONE
Cons: racial profiling, rude bouncer!!

I am not sure about all the discrimination complaints (as the people I saw inside were all ages, sizes, shapes and colors). This place is nothing special. The drinks are weak and expensive, and the music is too loud for a place claiming to be a "lounge". After all these reviews, the only reason I can see for going is to see if you are allowed in - then walk right back out.
Pros: Close to other bars if they do not let you in ;)
Cons: Put some vodka in my drink
