Good food, nice atmosphere, service could be better. My first experience at Khazzane was rather good. We ordered Butter Chicken, paneer tikka, and Romali roti. The food was tasty and the service was pleasant. Desert could have been a little more authentic (firni was good, but not really firni). The decor is appealing, the restaurant is the kind of place where you feel like sitting, especially if you are with someone special. Good place for people in their twenties - thirties.

The waiters should try to be a little anglicized and try to be more Indian. They also need to know the food they serve a little better. They may also have been nervous, we went pretty early on.

Best Service, Best Decor and Good food. It was my second visit to the restaurent. I had the buffet as well as the regular food from the menu. Both were great but the buffet needs some more varities for vegetarian. And I must mention about the server as well, as he was a person to b admired. Accidentally, he was there to serve us for both buffet and dinner dine in. And his service was awesome with personal attention. The decoration is the other factor to be looked for. It's way above of it's competitors. Lassi was a disappointment as it didn't had fresh taste (he didn't charged us for that though).

It's a place to visit with ur homies. A place to retreat yourself.

Disappointing BUFFET LUNCH!!. After having dinner on Saturday night, I expected lunch to be equally great! But I am sorry that it was not. I took all my office people bragging about this place and it just disappointed me. There was NO SALAD, NO FRUIT, NO PANEER DISH, and Only One dessert option - which was very very sugary. Above all they charged us MANDATORY tip of $3 per person for buffet. It was ridiculous.

Very Disappointed. Would not suggest any1 to go there for buffet.

The Real Deal. I personally am a huge fan of food. I cook, eat and write about food. Food is my passion. Now when you go to any Indian Restaurants in the US most of the food taste just the same(same old tomato gravy), I mean the base of the gravy is all the same for many dishes, however here at Khazzne there is a different taste for every thing. The good thing is it is consistent. I have been going to this place from the time they opened up at least once a week. Always the same great fresh taste and quality. The only place in town to serve Roomali Roti.

Good Indian Food. The food is fresh tasting and the buffet is excellent. I've heard on the weekend nights they play bhangra. I have not had the pleasure of that just yet. I just went there today and had the mali kofta. Its was awesome. Also they have some really different types of meals that you only find in India, not in the typical places here in Houston. Their lamb is always melt in your mouth good.

The only place to improve I would say is the lassi's (very typical out of a can taste) and the service. The service folks seem to forget you a little bit.

This is the best resteraunt I have ever went to!. Me and my homies wanted to chill somewhere so they decided to go to an Idian resteraunt even though I really didnt like Indian food. It was awesome, the service, food, and large variety of any type of indian food! Everything was fresh and I finally like indian food! Now I always go here to hang out and you should also!

Not worth the price. We tried this restaurant after hearing good reviews. However, the buffet had very limited items with dishes that were not that impressive. The food was ok, service ok, but there are a number of better Indian restaurants around Houston. The owner responded rudely to our criticisms of the restaurant. The only good part was the kheer dessert (which is a tasty, but really small portion) and the mango lassi (which was tasty, but over-priced as well).

Excellent Indian food in a lovely, modern Indian ambiance. Gracious hosts and a rich menu.. We hosted a dinner for a group of friends from Holland, Louisiana and New York and everyone thought this was the most delicious Indian food they ever had. The palak paneer especially is a must, but really, each and every dish we ordered with the help of the restaurant manager was a treat. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes prepared by specialized chefs from different regions in India. The menu especially offers lots of vegetarian dishes and yes, they do serve alcohol as well.

Awesome Indian Food in Houston!!!. This place knocks my socks off every time I go. And every time I've gone, I've tried something different. Large portions, everything is fresh and made to order. Indian food just doesn't get any better than this. love it...love it...love it. This place has the most accommodating staff.. Khazzane has a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and stellar service. It's everything you'd want from Indian cuisine at a very affordable price.

Avoidable. Another example of a restaurant, where the owner forgot that good food and great service are fundamentals for a place. we were impressed by the looks but got horrible service, and awful attitude by the owner after we expressed our dissapointment. My advise, houston has some great Indian places both upscale as well as casual, divey places with great food. NO NEED TO GO TO Khazanne!!
