Beautiful furniture, courteous service and prices that can't be beat!. My wife and I had been looking around town for several unique pieces that would stand out as unique, and not be found in any of our friend's homes. We live in NW Houston, and had run the gamut of stores from The Woodlands to River Oaks and back, without finding exactly what we wanted.

It wasn't till we visited my wife's mother in Sugar Land that we happened upon 505 Imports. As soon as we walked in the door, I know that we would find what we were looking for here. They had a HUGE mix of exotic furniture, and many of their pieces were constructed of Antique reclaimed wood (some up to 300yrs old!)

Another thing that really set them apart in my mind was the fact that they manufacture all of their own furniture. I had been concerned that we may purchase some furniture from someone who had just loaded up a container in a far off land and imported it without knowing of the quality behind the furniture. I was assured that the quality control and manufacture were top notch at 505 !

As for the store, it is a real treat to the senses, with vibrant colors and exotic aromas it was a real treat to browse through their showroom (we stayed for 1.5 hrs)! They have a great mix of exotic hand carved wood furniture, and a full line of in store upholstery by Rowe furniture. The great part about 505 is that you can purchase straight off the floor, or you can custom order both the Hand Carved furniture, and the upholstery!!!

All in all, we ended up purchasing a bookcase, a beautiful upholstered sectional and a lovely antique Indian trunk! The prices were the best we encountered anywhere, and the staff was courteous and attentive.

If you are looking for a great deal on some really unique pieces, then I highly recommend 505 Imports in Sugar Land! You won't be disappointed. 8)
