Houston >BB's Cafe
“Every bite was just good and the atmosphere was so enjoyable.”
“The food is great and the atmosphere is easy and fun.”
“Don't pass up this great little place on the corner of Montrose and Westheimer.”
“Great catering, great customer service!”
Tasty food, mostly friendly staff, superb location.
Here is an update to my review. There is an AA waiter that has got to be the worst waiter in human history. He rarely says a word, just blankly looks at you, and NEVER says thank you. This has happended twice and it will cause me to stop going here and spread the word. You work at a cafe in the neighborhood I live in! Show a little bit of life or get out of Montrose!
Really glad I stumbled into this restaurant during my lunch break one day. The po-boys are really tasty. I've had the enchiladas which were a very pleasant meal. Gumbo is done right, though I have to add tabasco to make it fiery. The owner and manager is really friendly and down to earth. It's great to have another late night option also. I hope this place doesn't go away. I am really looking forward to a drunken eating experience of reeses or m&m's pancakes. This place rocks!
Good late-night spot.. Best late night spot inside the loop. Friendly owner and Manager. Fast service. I've tried the following: shrimp po-boy, roast beef sandwich, red beans and rice. Everything has been good.
Best Grialldes and Grits Anywhere.
Best Po-Boy I have had outside of South-South Louisianna. Shrimp were peeled that day and not frozen. Double battered. The french bread was good but not the crusty best but the overall combination including BB's special sauce was outstanding. The roux based gravy of the "Grialldes and Grits" was the best I have ever had. Wonderful friendly customer service. Feels like your Mom is serving you your favorite snack in front of the TV. It will become my late afternoon weekend sandwich shop. Reminds me of Camillia Grill in uptown New Orleans. Loved It.

Editorial Review. Houston residents eat up Cajun inspired entrees, including the infamous Po-Boys, at this fun and casual Cajun restaurant that's open late for the after-party crowd.
