In Short – Cajun seafood delights await at this casual eatery named for owner Denis Wilson. Count on a lively bar scene and fresh daily seafood specials highlighting the flavors of the Gulf. Order a house-specialty Bloody Mary and grab a bowl of deep, dark gumbo, crawfish bisque or sample shucked-in-house oysters at the popular oyster bar. Crisp, cornmeal-coated fried shrimp shine as do crab-meat dishes like the jumbo lump saute. Platters suit the indecisive while meat lovers can rely on veal chops, lamb or steak. –
Best fish in town!

My husband and I eat here every week. It's our favorite restaurant. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They recognize us when we show up. The food is excellent! You cannot find fish made the way it is here. We like to eat healthy and not have the food made with all kinds of butter and sauces and we always are pleased with the food and the staff's willingness to adapt things to make them healthier.
I'm not sure what food everybody on here is speaking of

I am from Louisiana there is nothing great about the food at this restaurant. The crawfish bisque is made of a dark roux which makes it taste like a low grade gumbo, the red beans were ok, the thing I enjoyed the most was the crab bisque which was made with a creamy base which is how bisque is supposed to be prepared. I ordered the Redfish Courtbuillion (how ever it's spelled) blackened, the topping which was made of a dark roux and tomato paste mixture with shrimp and crawfish. If I would've just gotten blackened fish it would've tasted much better (their roux totally messed it up). I'm not going to mention that my boyfriend sent back everything he ordered and finally he settled on a fried platter that was mediocre. The calamari and fish were NOT fresh, the shrimp were ok but small. Everything just was not fried right.
BUT I must say.....The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing, the wait staff is excellent. No matter how much we asked for or wanted to switch meals they were very accomodating and always had a smile. The drinks were pretty good as well.
I guess this food is great to people that have never had "true Louisiana" cooking but knowing what the "real thing" taste like I was very disappointed. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there for Louisiana food but the drinks and atmosphere were great!
- Pros: Atmosphere and Service
- Cons: FOOD!
The new place in Houston to visit and has great values.

Freshest seafood in town, with unique selection of fish. Golden tile, snook, and flounder that is filleted at table side. The new concept with an affordable and great wine list. Be aware this is a new place to visit and love.
