Good Chinese Restaurant. Good food. I ordered the Seafood in black bean sauce and it was delicious, good flavor, fresh ingredients, generous portions. My husband ordered the General Tao's chicken and it was good, not the best I have had but good. Waiter was friendly. We will go back for sure. They also have lunch specials.

Real authentic Chinese food in the heart of Houston. on a recent trip to Houston, was staying in the Galleria area. I am from NY, where I have had my share of fine restaurants. My favorite has to be Chinese. Decided to try Changs, the food is very authentic, fresh, with true whole ingredients. I thought I was in NY. Met the owner, Nancy, for the best food, toss away the menu, and trust the excellent staff at this classy, superbly presented, refined true Chinese food with a few degree of spicy zing. If the economy hasn't ruined you, you'll survive. I may have to visit Houston more often. During my 4 day visit, i became a patron for 2 lunches, and 2 dinners, the experience was priceless. Thank you Changs for making my stay so delicious.

Good chinese!. I'm a creature of habit... I always get the same thing- Pork and eggplant in garlic sauce. I start with chicken corn soup (variation of egg drop). Sometimes I get crab puffs, because i'm addicted to them, but they're not very good here. But i'm always happy with my usual.

Decent prices and they deliver.

Tasty Delivery and juicy dumplings. I found this place because its next to the Kolache Factory last year, but have never tried it. To be honest, Chinese food isn't my favorite food as I've had some bad experiences in the past.

So, I was having some friends over last night and we couldn't decide what to eat. 4 of us wanted Pizza and 6 voted for chinese. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I mean come on! its my house after all. Anyway out voted. That's democracy for you. Chinese it was to be. We ordered over $100 of dishes with the cute sounding receptionist. All good so far. Before I had finished my beer it was here. Well packed and still steaming and smelling wonderful. The vegetarian dumplings were beautifully cooked, the vegetables were tasty and some of the sauces! man, just wow! we all shared the dishes and I tried nearly everything, most of my friends were totally impressed. Believe me, Martha (if your reading this) your a nightmare to please:) but i love you! So thanks Chang's. You made our night memorable for the right reasons.

Best Special Fried Rice in Houston. You need to try out their special fried rice...I love spicy, so I always ask them to make it extra spicy...Oh its lovely, I have become so addicted that sometimes I go for it 3ce a week...its really fabulous..When u try it ,you will understand where am coming from.....I am an excellent cook myself but this special fired rice....still searching my head for what the recipe could be..so I can copy it in my kitchen. I havent eaten any other dish there...just this special fried rice.

Pretty good Chinese food. Although not that memorable, I would definitely return here. The food is very fresh but like one of the reviewers not real spicy like I usually like. The steamed vegetable dumplings were very soft and tasty. I thought the service was excellent and that they were extremely friendly. When we were leaving each person working there said goodby to us. We felt a little like royalty. The shrimp and broccali were ok as was the chicken dish. I can't even remember what we got and that is what I mean by not that memorable. I would try different dishes before I discount this place. It had a very nice atmosphere unlike most Asian restaurants, it was quite cheerful. I will definitely go back here again and try other menu items. Don't discount it just yet.

Horrible Customer Service. Do not waste your time! They are in it strictly for the money, with no care for customer service. I will never bother with these chumps again. Don't believe the comments about "good or quick service"!

Some of the best chinese food in Houston. My co-workers and I have eaten at the Eastern Chinese for years, and I was thrilled when the same family decided to open Chang's by my house at the old cafe tin tin location. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service is great, attentive, but not in your face. The food is amazing, I love their thick egg drop soup, and have sampled many of the dishes, the chicken is white meat and very tender, the beef is cooked perfection and not at all tough. The only down side is their "hot" dishes are not very spicy. If you love spicy dishes, this isn't the best place for you, but if you're looking for quality food at a reasonable price (the lunch specials are a steal, the dinner is border line between reasonable and kinda expensive) this is the perfect place to eat. Also, an FYI soda is served in the can, so no free refills on that, however, ice tea and water are both free refills (water, of course is free of charge) I cannot say enough good things about the food, and we go back often!
