In Short – The cozy, red-hued dining room tempts islanders to settle in for a fiery evening of small Spanish plates and potent cocktails. A large bar off to one side provides plenty of seating in addition to the scattered dining tables and out-of-the way booths. There's also a stage for the in-house jazz bands that enliven the crowd of young locals on weekends. The menu features plenty of accessible tapas dishes for those who aren't as familiar or comfortable with traditional tapas flavors.

Disappointed

I was here previously last summer and had a great time and impressed with the feel of the place. The food was a bit slow in coming out but was good. I especially liked the shrimp dishes. My husband and I enjoyed the service also. The young lady serving us was very sweet and the manager made it a point to check on us several times and was quite charming and helpful about things to do after dinner. We have been back several times and the people there actually remembered and have made it a point to welcome us graciously.
We came back last saturday however and things seemed to have totally changed. The food was even slower and the service was totally lacking. I was disappointed and asked the server where the manager was and she said he no longer worked here. She obviously didn't understand my point. All the people seem new. I hope this isn't a situation where management changes and the place goes downhill.

Awesome place on Galveston for food and fun

If you're into wine and live music, check it out. I wasn't familiar with Tapas and the server was able to walk our group through the menu and make good suggestions. The food was very good, especially the beef dishes.
Me and my friends were in a group of eight people and everyone had a blast. Service was very friendly and the people in the restaurant all seem to be having a good time. We'll be back.
