“Whether you are looking for a private wine room to entertain a small group, a romantic dinner, a large party, or just a quick drink and appetizers - this is a fabulous location, close to us here at FM 1960 & Gladebrook people that don't want to drive down”
Cute bartender Cute Bartender. It's a really nice place. The food is delicious. The drinks were strong. Give it a chance!!
Not too bad. Our reservation was the family dinner was right before the Christmas holiday. We live in the neighborhood and thought it would be a great neighborhood dine out place. The place is not too warm to consider as an upper scale steak house. It wasn't too bad. The food was good, especially the appetizers ie crab cake & the jumbo shrimp. The service can improve, but the food came out at a decent time to make up for it. The price was right for the serving. Though the location is perfect and convenience for us, thus, the liveliness just wasn't there.
Over?. This is not my first dining here. It used to be vibrant and full of friendly faces from the locals. There has been lots of changes, changes for the worse. I witnessed a lady solicited dinner group sales to a patron at the bar. She was persistance and aggressive by offering great commission to all the group of the patron guest. Besides that tasteful action, the food is better, try the crab cake.
Lonesome place. The service was not too great. Being new to the Houston area, I didn't know where to go. The vibrant Happy Hour flyers had great prices and thought it would be a place to meet new people. I was disappointed with the bar selection and there was no crowd. During my wait, I ordered a few items off the simple yet great menu, the appetizers was delicious.
Not. We called to make a reservation for the family holiday dinner, booked for an early dinner. We were the only ones there. There were a few people at the bar, thank goodness. The place is pretty dark and disturbed with the loud vulgarity music. It is best not bring family or children. The crab cake was awesome! Everything else was down and out.
Dull & Dry. Having an urge for a tender and aged steak for the holidays was a must. I was disappointed with the steak and the restaurant. Service was decent, however, the atomosphere was dull and dry, just as the food. I found the place through an ad placement and it was nothing as advertised. I wouldn't recommend the place knowing there are others in the same price range with a better food and atmosphere.
Too much & not worth it. My family was around the area and seeking for steaks. After reading all the review, we had high expectation. Perhaps that was our fault. The food took forever to come out and you think it was because the kitchen was lined up with orders. There was only 2 other people at the bar! The cost for the dry bland steak was outragious!
Nothing to rave about. I was taking out a group for a trip. So I started to do some reading on the reviews in the 1960 area. I scoped out this location because of the great reviews. However, when I came in to make reservation, there was no one there except a few staff. I was in the place right around dinner time. No one was there for the happy hour or the dinner. Perhaps I was too early. Either way, I wondered how fresh can the food be if there is no one there? I ordered the crab cake, nothing to rave about. I never made that reservations.
Hidden place with a hidden service.... The food is alright, nothing like the reviews I read before going there. Yes, there is entertainment, but we were the only one there. Where's the Happiness in the Happy Hour? I wouldn't recommend it.
Great place to eat on 1960. My husband and I ate here on Sat. 10/18 and it was great. The food and service were excellent and they had live entertainment. We had a great time.
