Better and Better. I knew from one great past experience that this was a special place and was looking forward to another excuse ( special occasion worthy of the cost ) and had decided that my husbands birthday was just such an occasion. He is very ill and being treated at MD Anderson and so this was not only a special occasion but a unique evening out for us.

I had made the reservations in advance but had to call at the very last minute to say he was in too much discomfort to get there and could we push our reservations back to much later and not have to wait for a table. This was a Saturday night and they were packed and even with that challenge the manager and hostess said they would make it work. They asked if we would call as we were leaving our home ( 15 minutes away from their location on Westheimer ) . We got there finally and were immediately escorted to a booth for 6 for our party of 4. We were given super service and the food was a total WOW!! My husband does not have much of an appetite and we asked what the charge was to split - No Split Charge - the steak was so great! It did not need any additional topping. The lobster Mac Cheese was amazing and the celebration dessert that was free was fabulous!! We had a great experience and we really appreciate the special understanding and accommodations that were made to make my husband's birthday so special!! Thank you Pappas. Lynne Singerman

Almost as good at Pappas Steakhouse but less expensive and closer to Sugar Land. Pappas Grill really makes an exceptional effort to deliver high quality dining experiences. The food was fantastic, a great wine selection and decent wine pricing (2X liqcour store prices), excellent wait staff and a beautiful interior. All this located near Stafford??

Sugar Land people, if you are tired of Perrys Steak House (which i do recommend Perrys), then try Pappas Grill. You'll be pleasently surprised. Pappas knows the restaurant business.

great food; cozy bar; got empty early. i had a great dinner at pappas grill steakhouse. i'm used to going to the main steakhouse on westheimer but met a friend here for dinner last week. the food was as good as any other steakhouse i've been to. staff was attentive and very professional. only strange thing was that the place got empty around 10pm and all the staff was waiting around near the door as we walked out.

Worse Customer Service Ever. I was not pleased with the customer service and quality of food. I stood at the bar for awhile until someone finally asked what I needed. I was not greeted at the door or directed to the bar. I am use to picking up food and the waiters going over what was ordered, that was not done. My bill and food was thrown to me and he went to the kitchen. I also saw two managers walking around and was never greeted by them. The original Pappas Steakhouse customer service is outstanding and they are busy.
