Went to a bridal shower last week and was extremely disappointed in the cupcakes. I had the red velvet and it was very dry. The icing should have been cream cheese icing but all I could taste was sugar had to remove it as it was just terrible.

Sugarbaby's Cupcakes Disappointment. I was delighted when we pulled up - the charm was adorable, if overdone a bit. We're looking for a place to provide cupcakes for an event we're doing and we loved the "feel" at first but the woman who served us was so rude, I wondered if they were about to close given no customers (Nope, it was 4:30). The cupcake was average: I've had worse but I've certainly had better from someplace that sells itself as upscale. There is far too much competition for me to give my business to a place that doesn't value their customers. If they were bad today, I'm certainly not trusting them with a party. Too bad really...

Good cupcakes...need improvement on customer service. Although the cupcakes themselves are pretty good, the staff needs to improve on their customer service, especially to their regular customers. If the staff were friendlier I would be giving them five stars, however the lack of customer service really is that bad. In particular the female who I think is a manager that works up front is very curt and rude in the way she speaks. It's like my dollars help keep you in business. Seriously, if you are not courteous and don't give customer recognition, you must take people for granted.

Superlicious!. I have had cupcakes and tea when I used to work in the area. I thought it was delicious and the service was great. I just recently ordered 3 dozen mini cupcakes for a baby shower. I had researched and called all the other cupcake boutiques in town and none were very accomodating. Sugarbabies actually ordered a cookie cutter for a decoration for the cupcakes to match the baby shower invitations at no charge to me, they also matched the icing colors perfectly. From day one I felt like I was thier only customer. The cupcakes were adorable, and delicious and moist and they got so many compliments from the shower guest and espeically the mom to be! Way to go Sugarbabies! Your staff is Superlicious!

disappointing. We have gone around and tried all the "cupcake" boutiques. This one was again very dissappointing. We were also there on Sat. 3/19. small, dry tastless wrapped cupcakes. Also, very disappointed when the employee put the cupcakes on the counter before packaging them.

It appears all the cupcake and custom cake places "claim" all there products are made from scratch? Liar liars pants on fire. Most of them, use pillsbury commerical cake mix! water and oil... Think again when spending this kind of money on an ill prepared cupcake. Frosting is also commerical. Disappointed again.

Terrible service, Mediocre cupcakes.. We went to this place for the first time this afternoon around 5pm. We arrived before our friends did and ordered 3 cupcakes. The server got the first one out and placed it on the counter without a plate or box! I realize that there is a cupcake wrapper on the bottom but this is still unsanitary and unappetizing. (This has never happened at other bakeries we have been to.) Surprised, I asked the girl if they had a plate or tray to put it on. She put on a bad attitude and rolled her eyes. She then asked if it was for here or to go. It should be common sense to put food on a plate or box without having to think about it. Needless to say, I lost my appetite but I didn't want to disappoint my two kids so I proceeded to stay and give it a try. The cupcakes were disappointing. They were small and dry.

At the end of our visit, I left a few seconds before our friends. There was no "thank you" or "bye" although the place was empty and the workers were not doing anything. However, when our friends left a few seconds later, I could see through the door that the server who had served me earlier (a brunette with a pony tail) was smiling and saying "Thank you" and "Bye" to them. She may have been holding a grudge for my asking her to use a plate but I felt singled out. The service was very unfriendly. Needless to say, I will never return and will tell my friends about the terrible service. In addition, the cupcakes were mediocre at best..

Another Great Birthday. Thanks for creating another great order of birthday cupcakes for our family. My daughter's pink and purple cupcakes were perfect (as was my son's about a year ago), and everyone enjoyed them. I appreciate the special consideration for making the colors look perfect and for calling to let me know they were ready early.

Not as Bad as you all say. I went in today to get some cupcakes and I was greeted and helped in a friendly and timely manner. I don't work there either. So spare me the comments about having a stake in the company. As for the cupcakes themselves, well they ain't Crave, but they are still very tasty in their own right.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This was my first visit to Sugarbaby's after sitting across the street at the Hunan Chinese restaurant and saw people coming in and out of the store. I went there today and they were giving away free red velvet cupcakes to kick off the cupcake show on the food network. As I walked in, there was a table laid out with 2 people standing behind it. Neither of them greeted me. As I picked up the brochures I asked the girl was this store going to compete and she just looked at me and shook her head. After the awkward silence, she finally asked if I wanted to try their red velvet cupcake, I said sure why not. (They had a whole display of them so you would think they would have offered one as soon as I walked in). The girl didn't even ask if I was getting it to go, she just put it on a plate and handed it to me. No one was smiling or greeting people during my visit...so maybe I caught them on a bad day or something. With that being said, I would rather drive ALLLL the way to the Galleria to CRAVE and spend the extra on gas and a bigger & better tasting cupcake than to be ignored in an place of business! It's bad enough the parking sucks, but to get inside and the customer service sucks too? What are the odds....

pssst: I think the people on here that are raving about their good "customer service" must work there.

One of my fav cupcakes. I've been coming here a while. I love it here! I went on Tuesday and it was buy 2 get 1 free! I love their va-va-vanilla with strawberry frosting! It was awesome!!! I left it overnight and ate it the next day and the cupcakes were still awesome!!! Every place has their ways of making cupcake and texturally and sweetness wise, I give it two thumbs up! I love cupcakes that are not too sweet! SugarBaby's does that for me!!!

People there are really nice too!!!
