IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!!!

I am a Mexican Food fanatic!!! I eat it at least 3-4 times a week. I go all over the city to try different places. I recently had an accident and broke my leg. I was confined to the house and decided to do some searching for an alternative to pizza. I was blown away to find burried on page four of a food delivery search on google, that less than a mile from my house in rice village they had opened a new Mateo's Mexican Delivery ! What they heck is this place? So I looked at their site, it was under construction and I was sceptical, but I was dieing for a mex-fix so I decided to call.

BLOWN AWAY:

I am not even joking when I tell you that this place amazed me. From the extremly nice lady that answered the phone to the driver that came in and unpacked it for me since my leg was an issue to the very good tasting food. I was impressed. Price tag for the whole thing...$20!!! $22 with the tip!!! I was amazed. The food came in plactic containers, not the styro stuff, it was hot, tasted great, not the best ever, but as good as any in Houston area, and it was DELIVERED!!! I am now a fan of the place and can't wait for round two. Maybe tomorrow!!!

Check your receipt carefully

I hired Mateo's to cater a party in September. The food was ok, it was presented in a nice way but the day after the party I checked my receipt and they had over -charged me 80.00. I have contacted the manager and owner on many occasions (for over 30 days) and they have refused to give me a refund. Too bad, they have a good idea (Mexican delivery), but apparently have not taken a course on business practices and ethics.
