Can you spell fried
by gitmogrunt at Citysearch
Seems like they only have fried fish, I think there are other healthier ways to serve up good fish other than fried. Not everyone eats F-R-I-E-D.
- Pros: If you love Fried you'll love Baytown seafood
- Cons: If you eat healthy, and don't eat Fried...umm errr..
Fresh Seafood at a low price
by wadester at Citysearch
This is a great place to call in an order of seafood for pick-up. (Provided you have one of their take-home menus.) They churn out some really good fried fish (choice of catfish or redfish; I like the latter), fried shrimp, and fried oysters. Their prices are less than half the amount of eating at fancier restaurants along the water. But their modest dining room and lower overhead means they pass on the savings to you. Their fried oysters are some of the best in town, in my opinion. Don't look for anything fancy in the dining room; just plain dark -red booths with paper napkins and a basket of crackers to go with your meal. We always just call in an order, and pick it up to take home. It makes a great seafood meal to share with the family at home, when you are tired and don't want to cook or go out to eat.
- Pros: Fresh fish, modest prices
