Comment to Statements – Chiickadii~
I would like to comment on a couple of your statements. When stated that it wasn't stressed to bring the groupon coupon in, on the groupon coupon it was stated on item number 3. The employees are right, I do not provide internet access for them to play on. Leaving a DL number would not help us locate a groupon on number that is used to put in the system to activate it. As stated on the phone, all sales are through Groupon and you would have to contact them regarding the refund. Sorry for the bad experience.
Don't Waste Your Money at Tahiti Tans – Groupon had advertised Tahiti Tans with a good deal for trying Infrared Body Wrap. I have used Groupon before with other businesses, and they were great but this time, I had a terrible experience with this business - Tahiti Tans. I took the day off and drove 45 minutes to across town to try the infrared body wrap. I didn't bring my Groupon coupon with me but they didn't stress that it was required when I booked an appointment. The other businesses that I used before didn't require it. So since I didn't have the coupon with me, they refused to provide the service. I asked if I can use their printer to print it out, they claimed not to have Internet. Yeah right, what kind of businesses do not have Internet these days right? Since I didn't want to waste my day, I asked if I can get it right after the body wrap and wouldn't mind leaving my license but they refused. I even asked if there's a kinko near there so I can go get the printout real quick, the girl shrugged and look like she did not want to help me at all! They were not willing to compromise knowing that I took the day off and drove across town! Needless to say, I drove all the way back to the other side of town with nothing done and a waste of a day off!
The owner of that place called me after because I wanted to talk to her about this situation. She said that they needed a Groupon code to turn on the machine on. What kind of crock is that? I could have given it to her by pulling it up from my phone if they have asked. I told her if they had asked me to pay the full price, I would have. My time is a lot more important to me than spending a few more bucks. She did not see a customer's point of view at all and did not seem to recognize that in order to have a successful business, you should try to practice good customer service, even a little, so that the customers would come back and refer their friends - I suppose they have no room for good customer service. The owner (think her name was Nancy) was adamant that's just how she ran her business. She refused to provide a refund for a service that I did not even get and actually hung up on me after our exchanges. How wrong is that?
So if you care about getting good customer service, and actually get your money back for a service never provided to you, I recommend NOT going there! I am certain that there are so many other places that may actually be more professional and provide good customer service.
Excellent customer service and tanning services – Employees are very helpful and friendly. The tanning beds and lotions rock. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants a quick tan or just a tan to maintain. I have also been airbrushed and the technician rocks and knows what she is doing. She makes you feel very comfortable as she is airbrushing you. Ckeck it out.
