Excellent Food and Service. This restaurant is great! My friend recommended it, she was absolutely right. The food is incredible and staff super friendly. If you need anything prepared to your taste, they will make sure the food is up to your expectations. I ate cactus for the first time, they were delicious together with everything else I had, including desert.

Best Tamales this side of the border!. Dona Tere is a friendly little real deal mexican cafe in Sharpstown. The tamales are the best with huge variety. Try the pork, chicken and sweet tamales stuffed with raisins.. Kids love them! Go hungry and prepare to be impressed by the food!

Thoroughly and repeatedly impressed!‎. Having been to this restaurant a couple dozen times now I can safely say that I am consistently satisfied with the flavor, the service, the cleanliness, and the prices! Each day a new flavor of agua fresca is made fresh (sometimes horchata too!), and the molcajete is presented in an authentically Mexico City style. I was even delighted to find that delicious champurrado was made seasonally! The lunch menu provides light, savory, and healthy meals with a free refillable Mexican drink for around $5 to $7.

Please do try this place if you have the chance!

Best place for Authentic Mexican Food. Try the Mole Enchiladas or the Dona Tere Tray , with those two you will taste central mexico great cuisine!

Amazing Molcajetes!!!. I visited this Restaurant and very diferent to the other. I tried Molcajete and is really good. Is a combination of different meat, cactus, cheese, a good mexican sauce.mmmm

Also I try deepfrying chicken quesadillas they are delicious. I love the mexican coffee in this place.
