Cynthia ROCKS, I went in feeling frumpy and plain but she saw something lovely in my hair and brought it out.. what a beautiful thing for such a small cost.. it's a sweet little salon like a jewel box, awesome service without a whif of snobbery.. wow, I am hooked for life

Best stylist in the city

I started going here following a stylist who has since left. Before going, she referred me over to Kim, who has now been doing my hair for about 3 years. This is more than I have routinely paid for cuts and coloring in the past, but it is well worth it. Flawless haircuts that almost style themselves, beautiful color that looks so natural and that grows out so that it never shows. Every time I start to think that maybe I don't want to pay so much for a haircut, I remember all of the bad cuts that I have every had, and just bite the bullet and economize somewhere else.

tucked away jewel

Studio 3 is in the heart of West U - upper end neighbor chic. Megan is fun, personable, talented, creative and clearly loves what she is doing - that is who I have been going to but the rest of the stylist seem to have equally happy clients. The staff is attentive, the decor is relaxing yet hip, and the space is just right.

The only down side is that the salon is always very busy - hard, very hard, to get an appointment, so plan well ahead - and sometimes there isn't even a chair to sit on in the small waiting area - but then again someone will quickly offer you a glass of wine, soda, or other beverage.
