Fun place, friendly bartenders, cool!!!. Fun little neighborhood bar with pool tables, dart boards, and a nice deck and rollup doors that give the place a very open feel in nice weather. Because of the doors, it is also legal to smoke inside when they are open. They have free hamburgers every Friday afternoon and usually do crawfish boils on Sundays in the spring. Karaoke night on Thursdays, the place is packed. Mondays and Fridays usually draw a good crowd too. But the best part of the bar is definately the employees. Not only is the service pretty good but Marty's employees don't have that snotty Heights attitude you find at a lot of other bars. In fact, if you hang out enough, you might end up being friends with some of the bartenders. I like the place. It's kind of a dive, but in a way, a classy dive. You won't be out of place drinking a Lone Star from a can or one of Helmut's kickin' jalapeno martinis. Work clothes or a suit, the crowd is pretty diverse and you'll definately make some new friends no matter how you dress.
