i have been into many clubs in houston , clear lake etc... THIS IS THE BEST CLUB EVER and no Mr jason im not writing this for a free drink lol ... the place is really great, they keep it really clean more than u can imagine ,THE MOST THING THAT I LOVED THRE IS THAT THEY HAVE COOL AC AND MANY FANS !!! so when ure dancing and u feel ure starting to sweat just move ure lady to the fans its cold , and awesome !!!! with all those hot ladies i almost melted there are many high STATUS people in there , most people where wearing nice cloth brands many ladies came with dresses !!! they have good guards + police , the bouncers are really good and they were really nice with every one .. the managment were really good , they always had an eye on every thing to keep every thing that awesome , and the dj played the best music ever ! not just like all the other top 20 songs .... they played all sort of music, the cover is $10 but really worth it , i would pay any thing for a great club like this the area outside the club though is crazy it has many homeless people so when you are wearing a brazer and a nice tucked in shirt just go to your car and drive !!! i want to thank all the managment and all those people who where wearing suits (working staff) and the police guards and the bouncers for this amaizng club , they have a good site as well !!! STATUS !!!!

I came a part of a big group (Houtopia) on Saturday, March 29, kinda unexpectedly because we had been at Red door and the bouncers (jerks) at Red door wouldn't let one person in for no realistic reason, so we all decided to meetup at STATUS instead (this was most of our first time checking out this club, it was definitely mine)! We were about 40 people deep and I guess we were a little early, but the bartenders were really welcoming and knowledgeable and I requested a table for the group and they accomodated us without any reservation. We had an AWESOME time, I really liked how the dance floor changed colors, that made dancing even better. Our group had the best time and DJ Larouse (I think that's how you spell it) played all the JAMS...he mixed it up and we just had the best time!! He played music from the early 90's up unitl now, that was hot (I get tired of the same ole top 40 of '08). It was all good at STATUS, not to add so many beautiful ladies, the club was packed within the hour and we took over the dance floor! We had fun, and we will definitely be coming back for more of STATUS!!!! I think I found my new spot!

Cons: Parking...but its Mid-town
