“Seems like a scam to me--lead the customer to believe all is well, wait until the day before delivery to inform them of a problem, and hope they will just pony up the extra dough since most people probably have no other choice.”
My 16 year old daughter had been saving her allowance for some time, and made a very loving and thoughtful gesture and wanted to get me flower's for Mother's Day. Needless to say, when these flowers arrived, they were 3/4's dead. They actually stood at my front door and handed me over a warm vase of seriously wilted flowers. To make matters worse, it looked like they made it in a hurry and just tossed them in without any care or thought with how they looked. It broke my heart to know my daughter spent so much money on such horrible, wilted, flowers. I would of called and demanded they refund my daughter's money, but I didn't want to break her heart or let her know anything the flowers were anything less than perfect. It's a shame when these flower shops charge insane amounts of money for deliveries and don't even have refrigerated trucks.
Don't let your families order flowers from here. They will only get ripped off, and you will only get wilted flowers.
the McDonald's of flower shops....
A joke of a flower boutique. If you would like for your flowers to be delivered according to your order, GO ELSEWHERE! Long story short, I should have listened to the lady in line behind me when ordering who said that her flowers had not been delievered--little did I know that my order would befall the same fate and my recipient would be left flowerless on valentine's of all days.
I placed my order a week and a half BEFORE the big day expecting my order to be fulfilled as promised when I paid in full. But no, I received a phone call the day before the set delivery date stating my order could not be fulfilled unless I paid even more than the already ridiculous rates--talk about putting someone in a bind. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere and am still waiting for my refund check in the mail since they refused to refund me in cash even though that's how I paid. Also, after talking to a few friends of mine, it seems as though I am not the only one to have befallen a similar fate (different locations). Seems like a scam to me--lead the customer to believe all is well, wait until the day before delivery to inform them of a problem, and hope they will just pony up the extra dough since most people probably have no other choice. If I could give a 'zero' star rating, I would...
