Cool Bar...if you can find it.. This is a pretty cool place. The ambience is eclecic and cool The patio overlooks the southwest side of downtown. It is never packed. The inside is usually empty. The drinks are stiff. This has the potential to be a cool place if more people would go. I guess the fact that there is no sign or advertising for it keeps it a secret place. The door is located on the back side of the building.

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I went to the Roof Bar for the first time tonight. I've lived in Midtown for a few months and I thought I'd found my spot. The clientelle was eclectic and the music was awesome. Then I met a nice guy and he offered to buy me a drink. We went to the bar and the bartender said the owner told him that I was cut off. I had had two drinks and was so confused. The manager then tried to fix it by giving me a shot. If I was too drunk to have a beer why give me a shot? I loved this bar until I found that they discriminated against women. I will never go here again. Beware anyone looking to have a good time! You won't find it at the roof bar!!!!

Cool patio bar. I?ve been here a ton of times!! I really like the place a lot but lately it seems to be pretty slow. Maybe when the weather gets better it will be poppin again!! I?m ready to have some drinks on the patio and overlook Downtown!!

My favorite bar in Houston!. I really love Roof bar because of the atmosphere and the music.....really, the music is what does it! I really like the lay-out of the place as well...and of course, the roof is just perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone...it's a great place to hang out, dance, and just have a good time!

nothing cool about it. place is horrible. no one there. played sorry rock music. too bad. it would have been a cool place.

Nice view, short on substance. I know this is in Mid-town and parking is scarce, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth to pay $10 for self parking even before I go inside. That's just too much because in the more popular parts of mid-town, parking is around $6 and you're free to walk around barhop where this place is in front of a Caddy Dealership. I guess I miss the old days of leaving a few free parking spots, having $3 self parking once those are full and $5 valeting. Enough about the parking already right?

compared to other roof bars, this place has a large one, but seating is still scarce. Our party had bought a couple of greygoose bottles so we had a little Hut, check that, a VIP hut (make it sound all fancy), but we still could not find a chair to save our life. The waitress was trying her best to find some more but that's more on the owners. She was also nice enough to bring us clean glasses and OJ for the greygoose a few times. The music is Rock...Nothing really that cutting edge but still much better than the Rocbar in bayou place. that place really stinks.

Really, I don't know what really sets this place apart from other places in mid-town. mid-town has just become a giant cliche of itself with yuppies and 30k a year millionaires. If that's your thing then you won't mind this place. I might go back and check it out again.

Awesome Rock Bar - Hip spacious decor, incredible roof bar and view. We love The Roof! The music is classic rock metal. The roof is over the top huge with a gorgeous view. Great mix of ages, drinks are good n strong. Great crowd and we love the roof!
