We live in the League City area and found out about Bailey's when we were looking for wedding venues. My fiance and I have eaten there on a Saturday night and also for brunch. The food and waiting service was great, so we decided to choose this as our wedding venue. Big mistake!! We first spoke to someone in November, but wanted to wait to make a decision after the holidays. We called and spoke to the event coordinator and met with him and thought all was good. A week later I sent over our menu selection and the number of guests to estimate so we could come up with a contract and figure to make a deposit. A little after a week had gone by no one had contacted me so I called and spoke to a gal who said the gentleman we were working with was out sick and she would look into it. When I finally contacted them again because of their poor follow-up service, I talked to a new gentleman on his first day of work. He kindly made an appointment to meet us and had even emailed the contract to us. However, the restaurant's contract was no contract at all it was a pricing sheet. When we met with him, he agreed and was going to talk to the owner. Well we finally heard back and got their so-called contract which didn't mention anything we were concerned with and had talked about and now had many unmentioned fees. My advice if you are considering this as an event site is to go elsewhere. When paying a large sum of money a contract is needed to protect both parties which they cannot seem to provide a legitimate one. We will never spend another dime or minute of our time on this restaurant.

bailey's is a nice restaurant for the not so nice seabrook -kemah area. the food was ok not what i expected considering they advertise the food as delicious. it wasn't that tasty and something i notice is that the food presentation they advertise in the web page is not as nice in person and we had the most expensive items in the menu so that was dissapointing however the staff was very good and the atmosphere is really nice.

I had passed Bailey's several times before without really knowing what it was. My husband and I were in the mood for a nice dinner, but we wanted to try something new. As we were driving past the restaurant I suggested we stop in. Upon entering, I was struck by the decor... it has kind of a modern steakhouse feel. Very unique chairs which were surprisingly comfortable. The service was above and beyond wonderful, the food was fresh and delicious, and the chef was refreshingly adventurous... I felt like I was judging an episode of Iron Chef America (in a good way). My husband had the ribeye, I believe, with this amazing chili pepper butter... it literally melted in my mouth. We both agreed that it was the best steak we had ever had, and I've eaten at some of the nicer restaurants in Houston. We had our children with us, and although the staff made us feel very welcome, we will definitely be back without the kids. ;)
