That was then, this is now: For those who haven't been to Monarch lately, prepare to be surprised. Under the helm of chef Jonathan Jones, the hotel restaurant with decent food is quickly turning into the hotel restaurant with award-winning food and dining destination. Jones is well known for his strong personality, which translates itself into bold and beautiful menu creations that endear him to the eating public. The 3rd coast ceviche is a must-order.
We ate dinner at the bar, lentil soup, Caesar salad and margarita pizza was all outstanding.

Each of our meals at Monarch was delicious and the service impeccable. Earnest was our server at dinner and he went above and beyond adding a personal touch by giving us recommendations of places to visit during our stay. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable experience!
Be sure to give props to Genevieve in Monarch for her exceptional support and help when service was running slow/behind. She is excellent and even went so far as to comp us to-go food and deserts.

The rich decor throughout the hotel is awe inspiring and all the common areas and guest rooms have contemporary comforts whilst retaining a traditional atmosphere. At the very hub, the Monarch is frequented by an eclectic mix drawn from the locals and guests that frequent the hotel. Zaza is a perfect place to stay for those on business or pleasure, there are 8 well equipped meeting rooms and a range of bedrooms and suites, each with a different outlook and character
We always enjoy Spencer in the Monarch Dining Room. He always accommodate to our request with a smile.
