Lots of both pros and cons. My review echoes what kpvb had to say, similar experience.

Pros. Service: wonderful, all staff were always friendly, attentive, and professional and they know what they are doing. Facilities: very clean and nice spa, great waiting area with complimentary water and snacks. BUT during one of my appointments, they were clearly remodeling or expanding and we had to go through a sort of rough construction area to get to my room which was also looked like it was only partially constructed (took away from professionalism that time, but it was the only issue with the facility in retrospect). Pricing: reasonable, especially since I had purchased a Living Social deal that made it all the more affordable.

Cons. Location: during my appointment times, this area was always very trafficky, so I had a very difficult time getting to and from there. BUT they do have ample parking which is a plus. Results: and this is really what mattered the most to me and was the biggest disappointment. I had hair removal treatments - 6 + touch up sessions for bikini and 7 sessions for underarms. Right after all the treatments, I saw excellent results with pretty much almost all hair gone from underarms. I was ecstatic at the idea of not needing to shave again - no razor bumps, no ingrown hairs, etc. etc.! But a month later most of the hair came back and now (6 months later), it's almost entirely back to the way it was before any treatments. I am not sure whether such abysmal results were because of their laser machines, their technicians, or something specific about my skin/hair that made it not work. But I feel like I wasted a ton of money and time for absolutely minimal results. Maybe their other laser services are better, but hair removal did not work for me.

Fabulous Affordable Med spa. They are prompt and really seem knowledge about all the treatments & equipment they have. I bought a groupon for LIPO laser & wanted to use it for my upper arms----at my first appointment Carey said she though I would get the results I wanted with skin tightening so she made an equal exchange. What great advice & service!!

Nice experience, poor results. OK, if I had written this review 3 months ago after my final of 6 sessions, it would have been 5 stars. The front desk was always extremely friendly, I never waited more than 5 minutes, and Christine was absolutely delightful. But, the fact is that the laser had absolutely no result; I look exactly the same as before my first visit. I am olive-skinned, with dark hair, so it wasn't as if I was in the less optimal results category. I never complained about the strength of the laser, so it shoulden't have been unreasonably toned down. Overall, very disappointed that I spent the money and took the time to go there for no result.

Great environment, great staff!. I had Rachel as my technician and she made my first experience extremely comfortable. She was incredibly nice and made sure to keep me aware of what was going on. She was patient with me as well. The staff there is incredibly nice and the environment is amazing. I didn't even really have a waiting time. I would definitely recommend this place to all, especially ask for RACHEL!

Great Staff. Christine was superb. She knows her job, loves it and does it exceedingly well. In fact I dont think i have come across better. I have been burnt by laser in the past, but she has always taken ever precaution to keep the treatment as painless as possible, which is hard to do.

Plus she's fun and easy to talk to.

BEST laser service. i have had the best experience at metropolitan laser institute! i would recommend anyone to go there!!!! i highly recommend cheyanne one of the laser technicians there, she is great and i always have fun at each appointment i go to!!!!!! metropolitan laser is great!

Love it!. Great experience. The girls are so sweet! Being a college student, I never thought I could afford laser hair removal, but have definitely always wanted it done! They worked with me on a custom payment plan to make it affordable and I couldn't be happier with the results! I've even noticed my pores have reduced in size dramatically, which was a huge concern of mine. The facility is beautiful and the staff is great. The only problem is that I will probably end up doing other areas that I don't have the money for! But I know it will be worth it in the end-- I would recommend Amy & Michelle to anyone!

laser hair removal. I have been a client of Metropolitan for about 2 years now, i started with my underarms and continued on with other procedures because it worked so well. I have had a great experience. Michelle and Amy are great. and really have taken care of me.

They asked me to write a review and i was happy to do so because of my results otherwise i would not take the time. I have sent several people to them and will continue. Thanks Metropolitan for making my life easier by not having to shave anymore.

New Location. I went to the new location and I am very impressed, my service was fabulous and the staff are very friendly and professional, they made me feel very comfortable, I went in nervous but came out so relax and my skin looks great. I look forward to my next visit and I am bringing my sister with me. THANKS
