I loved my experience at Body Envy. I originally went in to get laser hair removal on my bikini line. Karina (at the front desk), was very polite and knowledgeable and explained what the procedure entailed, cost (you buy a package of 6 typically), and how to prepare. I went in for my first treatment nervous as could be, (I was about to get my pubic area zapped with a laser!) but Felicia, the technician, was cheerful, good-humored, and talked me through what was going to happen. As I lay on the table waiting for the first official zap that would lead me to a hair free bikini line to arrive, I hold my breath and tense up ready for the pain, she puts the laser to my “area” and zap! To my astonishment the pain isn’t bad at all! I am used to getting full Brazilian waxes and comparatively speaking, the laser was like nothing! I was so happy with the results from the first treatment that I upgraded to a full brazilin for the remaining 5 sessions. I can’t wait to do my underarms!

Alrighty! My bikini line is looking fantastic and just in time for bathing suit weather. Here go the nitty-gritty details: You need to do the whole series of 6 sessions-- don't try to skimp or you won't get results. No, the laser won't get rid of *all* your hair. It's good for about 90% reduction. I still have some strays but they are fine instead of course-- nothin' a little nair can't handle. And you can get touch-ups, which I may just do. My fiance is lookin' good but will also need further touch-ups (he's a hairy guy!!). Sorry, TMI. The scoop on the photofacials: I did 4 sessions instead of the recommended 6. My skin is stubborn to respond to anything (I actually fly back to San Francisco for facials with my esthetician because my skin is so stubborn) and the sun spots I was hoping would go away only faded slightly. That said, I did notice a reduction in acne which was awesome. Would I do it all again? Absolutely.
Pros: Fantastic staff, flexible scheduling, great results for the price.
