A Hidden Treasure in Jersey Village. The Jersey Pub is a very nice bar in Jersey Village located along the 290 feeder just before Jones Road. I've introduced several friends to this bar and to a person everyone has been favorably impressed! First things first... although a person of any age might well enjoy this establishment, the overall average age of patrons is on the north side of 40 years old. There is a real touch of nostalgia about the place without it seeming 'old' or 'out of date'. The term "classic" seems to sum up the vibe that I get from the Jersey Pub. The owner is very involved with the bar and is often on site making sure that everything is running just right. The food I've had there is fantastic and the service and overall experience is just great. There is live music on some nights and karaoke on other nights. I love this place!

Great Atmosphere; Something Different. I was introduced to the place by a few friends. They invited me out to a Thursday night at the pub. This is their Steak Night. They serve a choice of Rib Eye Steak (large or small portion), Chicke Breast, Gilled Tilapia and Lobster Tail. The dinners are served complete with a salad and baked potato. What makes this place unique is the fact that it is quiet, dimly lit and caters to a mid-to-older aged crowd. They have a gentleman playing the grand piano and accompanied by another gentleman playing the trumpet. There is a decent sized dance floor for those who would like to take a whirl or two. In the background over the dance floor is a large projection screen TV playing classic movies. On the important occassions like the Astros/Texans/Rockets games, you will find the TV displaying the sports show. When the game is complete, it is back to the classic movies. On one side of the establishment, they have a number of tables and chairs to acommodate the diner and dancing crowd. On the other side, they have a couple of pool tables, shuffle board and darts. Ocassionally, they have special events like a Spaghetti Sauce Cook-off that is judged by the patrons that are present. They have just started Karaoke on Sunday evenings. Did I mention the help... They are ALWAYS right on top of it! They take good care of everyone and in a timely manner. I will certainly be back for another night at the Jersey Pub.
