Dangerously delicious!

I had driven past this place for months and was always curious what it was all about. I finally went in and was surprised by the flavors - mango strawberry, black cherry, "fire ants", avocado were just a few that were there in addition to the more traditional -triple chocolate, coffee, mexican vanilla, etc. I sampled practically every flavor before deciding on the mango strawberry and butter pecan. I can't even begin to describe the creamy deliciousness in my very reasonably priced "small" cup. I have been back two times since and I have never been disappointed. The owner is very friendly and personable. The ice cream shop itself is cute and clean (unlike some other places I have seen) which is a definite plus. So while there may also be sugar in the ice cream, I think the honey is definitely key to the pure yumminess in every scoop. OH! And you can also get the ice cream by the quart for under $7. So if you have a bit of a sweet tooth and are in the area it is definitely worth the trip.

Good ice cream...no novelty

I was intrigued by the name and the claim of honey sweetened ice cream. The ice cream was excellent, the service good. But I was disappointed to learn that honey is not the only sweetener; the ice cream also has regular sugar added. Since that's the case, I'm not sure what the novelty is. But it is quite tasty.
