Where'd my flowers go?. A week and half before Father's Day, I called Le Jardiniere to order 2 bouquets to pick up on Father's Day since the website says they would be open. However, the lady who took my order said that she would confirm on the following Monday about their holiday hours. Two days after not getting a call-back, I phoned Le Jardiniere on Wednesday to follow up on my order. The same lady answered the phone, and she admitted that she misplaced my order. She took down my name, phone number, and the 2 bouquet orders (again). Unfortunately, we were disconnected, and I expected that she would call back this time. Again, I had to call back to continue my order; I didn't get a voicemail or even a missed call from the store after a few hours since being disconnected. On the 2nd try, I received an *estimated* final price but no confirmation number or any proof that my order had actually been placed. On the other hand, she confirmed that they wouldn't be open on Father's Day, but they could make arrangements for me to stop by on the Saturday prior to pick them up. I was told that I would receive a phone call between 10 am and 2 pm for a pickup, leaving me to clear my Saturday afternoon even though the store misplaced my original order.

On Saturday morning, I called between 10-11 am to confirm my flower pick-up. This time, a man (I'm assuming Lee Page, the owner) answered the phone and told me that he was busy prepping for a wedding, but he would call me later that afternoon. I waited till 4 pm (notably 2 hours after I was expected to receive a call) to call the shop, and not surprisingly, nobody answered. In addition, nobody from the shop called to apologize for my non-order ever since then.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Luckily, I didn't prepay for my order. For those looking for a florist, I implore you not to consider Le Jardiniere.

Disgusting & Offensive Flowers!. I just had my wedding and Lee from Le Jardiniere did my flowers 6/18/2011. In one word - HORRIBLE.

We talked, had a contract, went to the flower market to pick colors, had a check list etc. I even told him (after I had paid him in full) that there were a lot of bad reviews about him, and this made me really uneasy. He reassured me that it was one crazy bride and her whole family. He told me he was suing her to have the reviews removed because the reviews were totally false. He convinced me that it would go great, he would do all the peach and pink colors on the tables, bouquet would be classy, bridal car beautiful, etc etc... He's a great talker. Lee's website is very professional, great storefront etc, but it is all just a facade. I do not believe the pictures on his web site are any arrangements done by him and his company. I did not see that creativity shine through in the least bit. i have to wonder if there is some copyright infringement with those pictures on his web site.

If you like surprises choose Lee Page from Le Jardiniere:

The antique cream mercedes was decorated in blue and purple ribbons with blue flowers. All that was missing were beads to throw out the window, as this looked like a parade car for mardi gras.

My bridal bouquet had a cheetah print ribbon tying it together (perfect for a stripper - no offense to strippers), instead of ivory.

The Pew shields were suppose to be ivory ribbons with peach/pink flowers, instead they were huge sunflowers

The centerpieces were again not the right color, there was a lot of purple and blue in the arrangements. One arrangement only had one flower. Another arrangement had purple flowers with red roses.

The garland he was going to put on the railing was again, big yellow sunflowers.

every napkin was suppose to have a white/green orchid on it. Instead he used purple flowers.

The list goes on and on.....

He is difficult to reach, hung up the phone on me at one point when I asked too many questions. And God is my witness, I was being polite and just had some questions about the flowers since the event was nearing. He was annoyed when I asked for his email so I could send him and email.

My coordinator, sister and Matron, talked to him about the flowers and it not being what we agreed on and he was combative, rude, and basically unaccountable. He said this is what was in season and what we had to use. Mind you we had picked the flowers only weeks before.

My wedding was at Vargo's and it was beautiful. Like any big event, there were a few bumps, but the flowers were horrific. I was embarrassed to ride in the car. I never looked out the window. It was hideous. No taste and no class. All the freebies were not present, such as the decoration for the bar and I could go one, but what's the point. The photographers were awesome and told me they would photoshop the pictures to change the colors. They even laughed!

The sad part is that you will confront him about this review and he will blame everybody else. Save yourself the embarrassment and go with someone else.

Good luck!

Living Magazine featured Lee Page on its Cover. I saw Le Jardiniere Florist was ON THE COVER of Living Magazine, and Vargo's recommends Le Jardiniere on their restaurant brochure. I'm looking for direct feedback from an individual customer. * * * Please contact me at free life outreach at msn dot com if you know about Le Jardiniere * * * I'm planning an appreciation luncheon. Le Jardiniere, I'm told, will donate extra services to community service organizations, and gift certificates for door prizes. True? Living Magazine stated that when Katrina devastated New Orleans, Le Jardiniere moved to Houston, that many residents from 'Nawlins still contract with Le Jardiniere for corporate events, weddings, Christmas, and I'm thinking they must be really really good, to have such loyalty. Do they have more than one location? Does anyone know current locations that Le Jardiniere provides regular arrangements for, like a church, and how someone in the congregation will sponsor a certain Sunday morning arrangement in honor of parents or grandparents that have gone before, or to commemorate special achievements like a child or grandchild graduating with honors, or for me, the birth of my first grandchild when most of my high school classmates already have great grandchildren, soon, very soon, maybe, I hope. Maybe you're reading this, and you know someone who's used Le Jardiniere, but they don't like the newer technology. I have friends and relatives like that. * * * SO, in THAT CASE, and to make it easy I am eight three two and then two three six followed by nineteen twenty four and just leave a message * * * about Le Jardiniere and I will return it after work, yes I work, and full time too, so until I do retire (like Social IN Security will let me do that ) (or I find time to build Passive Income through real estate investment) I'm glad to work at something I love. So can you talk, for about two minutes? Someone who had a "magical wedding" or a "classical memorial spray." Appreciation luncheon is in the Fall. Final arrangements deadline is mid Summer. Thanks! AMAZING FLORIST!!!!. Lee Page owner of LaJardiniere was the florist for my wedding a few weeks ago and he was absolutely amazing!

Lee is very personably and experienced. The moment I walked into his shop I knew he was the florist I wanted for my special day. I knew what kind of flowers I wanted and exactly what I wanted. Lee listened very patiently and made his own suggestions in a non pushy way. He even advised me on things that I had never considered or thought about before. A couple of months before my wedding we went to market to go take a look at the flowers. I picked out my flowers and we talked about colors and he gave me examples of what the flowers at our church would look like, my table arrangements for our reception and what the bridal bouquets would look like. My flowers were flown in a few nights before my wedding and they were gorgeous. (They even lasted 2 weeks after our wedding)

We had our reception at Vargos in Houston and although I would advise brides to NOT have their ceremony/reception at Vargos, Lee really came through for us. Vargos restaurant was so unprepared and understaffed that I was anxious and worried about everything until the day of. Lee was so fabulous and experienced that we ended up hiring him as our wedding coordinator for the ‘day of’ because the management at Vargos was horrendous and we completely trusted Lee.

Lee took over and did an amazing job. I was blown away walking into my reception and so amazed that he had gone above and beyond what we had expected. The flowers were fresh and the arrangements were beautiful. Everything was very tasteful and elegant, but not overdone. I can not even begin to say how many people that night and weeks after told me how beautiful everything was. During the ceremony my guests were taking their camera phones out to take pictures of our cake that had four dozen red and pink roses positioned between the layers of cake (all done by Lee) and our amazing table arrangements.

Lee is a phenomenal florist. If you are looking for flowers that are gorgeous and affordable, LeJardiniere is definitely the right place for you. Lee made my wedding day so special and I will always be grateful to him!!

Wonderful Wedding Florist. My daughter's wedding was Feb. 26, 2011 and Le Jardiniere (600 North Shepherd Drive, Suite #103) was our florist. The reasons we chose Le Jardiniere over a year ago was:

1. My daughter had seen their work at a bridal function where all vendors (florists, bakeries, etc.) were present. She loved their display.

2. Vargos uses them (we went over to Vargos and checked to see if this was so and it is) and we loved their arrangements.

3. When we met with Le Jardiniere, their cost estimate was far far better than the 6 others we had met with before.

4. We checked on line, and at the time there were no unfavorable reviews.

As the months went by, we started to see this one bad review all over and became concerned. So we contacted Lee, the owner, and met with. We wanted to get his side of the story. It seemed to us that a florist who does hundreds of weddings a year, could not be as bad as they said. All our fears were put aside after that meeting and we decided to continue with Le Jardiniere. We are so happy that we did.

Le Jardiniere furnished flowers for our home, Church, and reception and they were gorgeous!!!!!!

On the Thursday before the wedding they came to our home with absolutely beautiful arrangements.

On Saturday (2/26/2011):

They delivered exquisite arrangements for the altar at the Church: did pew bows and glorious bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids; made a sweet wreath of flowers for the flower girl's hair, not to mention her perfect basket; flowers for the mothers, groomsmen, ushers, etc. All arrangements and flowers were beyond my expectations.

At the reception, they put rose petals on the tables; flowers on the cake and on their own added arrangements around the reception that were spectacular!!!!

Because of Le Jardiniere, my daughter’s wedding was “over the top”. I cannot give them enough praise for their professional and wonderful flower arrangements. They have been more than generous to us and Lee is an “artist” in every sense of the word. If I had to rate them from 1 to 10, I would give them a 20.

Worst Experience with a Florist EVER!!!. I purchased a $25 deal thru UrbanDealight that provided one dozen red roses with vase included from Le Jardiniere for Valentine's Day. I contacted Le Jardiniere to place my order for Valentine's Day delivery and was subsequently informed that I would have to pay an additional $28.75 for delivery and tax - okay, first sign this experience would not be pleasant.

Valentine's Day arrived and by mid-afternoon still no roses delivery to my wife. I had already had to stall her all day long to remain at her location and now I had to fill her in on what the situation was - second bad omen about this experience. I contacted Le Jardiniere and I was informed because it was Valentine's Day they were extremely busy with deliveries and the driver was in my area. An hour+ passed and no delivery so I contacted Le Jardiniere again and they then informed me my roses had been placed on the wrong delivery truck and it would approximately another 45 minutes before they could deliver them. By this time my wife had to make an appointment so I requested the roses be delivered to my work. Finally, over an hour later and into the evening the driver arrived to my work and presented me with what appeared to be the last batch of peach-colored roses starting to wil along with daisies mixed in. I was appalled at what I was being presented so I told the driver the arrangement was not what I ordered, I would not accept them, and he asked that I contact the store the next day to receive a refund.

I contacted Le Jardinere on 2/15, explained the situation, and requested a refund. The girl on the phone stated she would be issuing me a refund. To ensure our communication was clear, I followed up with an email to the store's email address.

Friday, 2/18 and no refund had been issued to my credit card. I attempted to contact the store throughout the day but continuously received their voicemail; I left messages each time. I also sent a follow-up email requesting the refund and I be called confirming the action.

Wednesday, 2/23 and after many more phone calls with no success to reach anyone (phone line now beeps like it is out of service) and additional emails, it is time to turn the matter over to my attorney (my wife) who will attempt to resolve the matter.

What a horrendous display of business practice and disregard for customer service. Do not use this florist!!!

LE JARDENIERE WORST FLOWER DELIVERY SERVICE IN HOUSTON. THIS COMPANY WAS SUGGESTED BY A WEBSITE NAMED URBANDELIGHT TO DELIVER FLOWERS ON VALENTINE'S DAY. I CALLED AND THE PERSON OR MANAGER HANGED UP ON ME SINCE HE DID NOT KNOW WHEN THE DELIVERY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE( I HAD ASKED THEM TO DELIVER IT THE DAY BEFORE SINCE I IMAGINE THE DAY WOULD BE BUSY). THIS IS THE WORST FLOWER DELIVERY COMPANY IN HOUSTON AND I SEE THAT I WAS NOT THE ONLY UNINFORMED CUSTOMER. THE PERSON WAS RUDE AND WITH A LACK OF UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPPPOSED TO BE....

Attitude. The owner of this shop has to be the rudest man on the planet. He reminded me of a drive with road rage that just can't control himself. Beware of this owner!
