Not a genuine Japanese restaurant - stay away! I recently went in for lunch with a coworker. My coworker had been in South Korea for 20 years so he speaks Korean perfectly, and he immediately recognized the loud music they were playing to be in Korean. He wanted to leave because he knew non-Japanese cannot run Japanese restaurants properly, especially when it comes to sushi prep. We ended up staying anyways but it was a mistake. The food was horrendous, and the service was really slow. The male waiter never brought us our drinks, and the so-called "free" appetizer was listed for $6.50 on the check for two tiny pieces of tempura, so the owner probably could get a huge tax break! Not an honest restaurant, IMHO. For sushi you need to stick with real Japanese restaurants, not a knockoff like this.

Yummy ~ Hidden little jem. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

We are always greeted with a friendly smiling face. The service is awesome. The food is always fresh, and made on the spot. They do offer a little complimentry dish to go with your order. The last time I was there is was Shrimp Tempura, but the shrimp were pounded flat and resting on a green leaf of veggie, and lightly fried...O.M.G. It was awesome. I will def. be ordering that the next time I go.

BEST SUSHI ROLLS IN TOWN. I used to live around the corner from this little hole in the wall and was glad no one knew about it. It was my little secret. I moved away 3yrs ago and still make the trip back at least once a month because I have yet to find another place with rolls like Osaka. Its 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and I nevver mind. The staff is attentive and the place is never too packed.

The only bad thing is that there is no online menu but go once and make sure to take a menu home with you and keep it in a safe place. I promise you will use it often.

Just really good sushi and sashimi. Staff are friendly and take good care of me.. Best sushi and sashimi in the loop, they also make the best eel (unagi) in town. They give relatively large portion and free dumplings. I'm a regular customer, and I'm glad seeing them growing better. The place is kind of small and I thought they were to-go only but now I don't do to-go anymore. I eat there to keep my sushi fresh and tasty.

Yummy food!. This place is wonderful! It's a small, take-away location but their food is flawless and inexpensive. The bonus is that they always give you something free. The sushi and sashimi is outstanding and the prices are relatively inexpensive when compared to other sushi places.

Great Sushi and Sashimi in a small package. The Sushi and Sashimi are simply the best in town, and at extremely reasonable pricing. I highly recommend the Mackeril and Sea Bass here, as they are wonderful, where at most places they tend to not be as fresh, or the chef's are not skilled in preparing it. The seasonal rolls are always something good to try. The atmosphere is nice, and Chef Andi is a real Pro! The menu here is slightly smaller than thier main location, but all the best items are there, and the sushi and shashimi is just as good!

Something to keep in mind here is your meal almost always comes with something on the house. A small sample or appetiser is common, and a small serving of ice cream is almost always included. Something to keep in mind if you tend to over order at the sushi bar.

This is a small take out orriented expantion location of thier main resturaunt on lower westhiemer. As such they only have 5 tables and a bar that seats about 8 people. I often order for take out, but I do enjoy finding a seat when available, just don't expect to have one open on a Friday or Saturday night. I think they looked up my address and built this a block away from me as I must have been thier best customer at the orriginal location.
