I try not to be negative but to be honest the food here was really bad. The chicken was bad and all my dishes tasted old and spoiled. I have children and I was afraid of feeding them the food because they had school and I did not want them to get food poisoning. This place is horrible!
Food was horrible!!! When I talked to them they told me everything was pre-made. So I was like fine whatever probably like this at all restaurants. When I got the pad thai it was drenched in high fructose corn syrup and was extremely low quality. It was so hard I could barely chew through it. The chicken in the other dishes was extremely tough and tasted spoiled and old. The curry was okay but the other entree I got was extremely cold and tasted and looked like it was old and had just been microwaved. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I mean decor was nice and service was okay but I go to a restaurant to eat good food not be wow'ed at the decor.
Why go elsewhere?. Last weekend I went to another popular local Thai restaurant and blanched when I saw the long wait line. I remembered Sabai Thai because I'd been there for a couple of lunches. The lunch menus were okay and the food was good, so I headed there. Boy was I surprised! First, they have updated their decor - very nice. No lines, an extensive menu, and the food was perfection. To top it off, the service was nothing less than excellent. The owner/manager came around several times to be sure I was satisfied and had everything I needed as well. I had a leisurely dinner, in a great atmosphere and the food was so incredibly good that I didn't take home as much as I had expected. I won't be going back to the other place. I've found my new Thai-fix place.
Sooo Good!. Very good food! Thankfully they're vegetarian-friendly, which is so hard to find. But the servers are really nice, the food tastes authentic. This is one of my favorite places to go for asian cuisine in Sugar Land, hands down.
Gem of a place. Try the bikini shrimp and iced that coffee and you're guaranteed to be hooked for life, as i am.
some of the best thai outside of bangkok.
Great food. I've tried most things on the menu and have never been disappointed. And the unniforms are so colorful. Try the thai tea (ask them to go easy on the sugar) and the bikini shrimp.
mmmmm
Fantastic Thai. I love this restaurant! One of very few really good Thai restaurants in Houston. They don't overdo the sauces, the dishes, and the ambiance. The place is cute/quaint, and the waitresses are very friendly. I always feel relaxed and ready for a good meal when I go here. The fried Pineapple/Tilapia is amazing. The Pad Kee Mao is delicious, especially when you ask for it Spicy! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
LOVE THE DECOR, THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD. Glad to have this addition to the Sugarland area. Great Thai food restaurant. Food is excellent, especially the special dishes for the fish and shrimp are very good. Curry dishes are very good, too....I have enjoyed this restaurant, and recommended it to several neighbors. Food is well presented and the staff is quite pleasant. Can highly recommend it.
Love their food, Like their place. Loved this restaurant. Nice decor, good service and wonderful food. Make me feel like I live in Thailand. Good curry and a lot of healthy fish dish. We can't say enough about this place. The food, ambiance & staff are great! When we walked in the first time, they made us feel so welcome.
Fabulous and fresh Thai food!.
This is a high quality exceptional Thai restaurant. Finding Sabai has made my move to Sugar Land much better.
The staff is great and the food is always delicious and consistent.
