Search no more..... Made this great discovery on a recent visit to Houston.

I found the entire staff to be super friendly. Angela was very attentive to my wishes. i can say without a doubt she gave me the best haircut i have ever had as well as the color. next time i may do the eyelashes too.

The best of the best. I had the best haircut and color then I have had in years! I'm so glad I found this place. Of all the nice places I have been to in Katy, I am now willing to drive to Rice Village to get my blond hair cut and highlighted at Myth! I'm am a new regular. Thanks!!!

True Hair Rescue!!. As a new mommy, I was going through a bit of an identity crisis and wanted a bit of a pick-me-up. To save time and money (what new mom has piles of either?) I found myself using a light blonde kit I bought from the drug store.

It.

Turned.

Yellow.

I looked like a delicious tropical sherbet.

I went in saturday morning in tears and though she was almost completely booked all weekend, ANGELA made time for me.

NOT ONLY did she make my hair look like normal people hair again, she made it look even better than I had wanted when I envisioned sun kissed blonde hair in the first place! Then she cut about nine inches and ten years off. It looks amazing. I feel amazing. I am so happy that I found ANGELA!!

It's not the least expensive place, but with hair care, you definitely get what you pay for. I will be a loyal customer to Myth Salon and stylist Angela for as long as Houston is my home. I highly recommend!

Angela's magical scissors. For the longest time Angela has been taking care of my hair and skincare, and I am just so happy. I don't have to fly to get a haircut anymore, and it's so convenient now to just call then swing by the village to get a shampoo and style before a power lunch, a social event or just seeing friends. One by one my picky black-diamond-club friends are surrendering to Angela's magic scissors and creative trendy color effects. Yes, Angela trained with Vidal Sassoon but that's just a good start - perhaps being a violinist with a college degree helps, but to be the best of the best one must be so gifted and experienced, and she is. Each hair job is a unique work of art, or so she said - "I put a little bit of geometry and chemistry into the cut and coloring techniques" to get the rich-and-famous look that's you, or so she said. Nice tease, lovely so, and so true! To the hair-frustrated, my friends, check it out at mythspa dot com, make an appointment then go see Angela, sit back, ask for a glass of wine and feel good sipping - it's that easy. Bring a hair model picture so you can just point and say "do this", then relax and prepare for bliss.

TINA...TINA...TINA. i have been going to see tina for many moons now!. she does a wonderful job at both cut and color. she even rescued me when i went to someone else while on vacation!!! tina is lowkey...always has a smile on her face and is not one of theses stylist than has an attitude. the interrior of the shop is a little "groovy" and sometimes the atmosphere is a little "jet set" want to be....but that's not keeping me from going to see TINA.if she is not available....go see inna!!!!

Professional Stylist For Professionals. If your looking for a true professional, ask for Inna. She knows for craft and applys it with skill. She quickly understands your requirements. Very friendly and conscientious.

She has been taking care of me for over four years.

Mother Of Facials!!!. Through the years I had some very pleasant facials but something wasn't right because the blackheads kept coming back - actually they never left, never got extracted but were just cleansed in order to remain stealthy for a while. The problem was, I could feel the blackheads and knew they were there, getting ready to polka-dot my face in a few short days! That is, until Angela enlightened me with the mother of facials, and the daddy of extractions!!! Looking into the mirror I couldn't believe it, all of the blackheads were extracted once and for all, including a deeply burried pimple that I thought I'd be stuck with for life! Talking about instant EUPHORIA - ME!!! Majorly highly recommended! Make sure to request Angela, it's not where you go but who gives you the mother of all facials!!!

Great place. I walked in to Myth Salon/Spa one day for a hair treatment with Angela and that was it! Great place, friendly & comfortable environment, warm people, exceptional service!

Ideal hairstylist. I have been to many salons in Houston, but I was all the time disappointed. I could never get a haircut that I like and I was often overcharged. When I met Inna in salon Myth I was pleasantly suprised to find the hairstylist who is able to help me get the style or color I like and not just recommend what is in the beauty magazine. She is very attentive and detailed. She spent a lot of time with my hair and made sure I was happy with the changes we made.

Salon is clean and quiet. Parking is difficult to find though...

Great Hair-Spa salon in Rice Village, highly recommended.. I've never written reviews before, but I'm soooo happy today I'd have to write something. First of all thank you Angela for giving me a hairdo exactly as I wanted: the cut, the highlighting and coloring, all the pamperings, and the total devotion you gave me, I felt like a queen !! I highly recommend Myth Spa & Salon and especially Angela, she really listens to you. Next time I will try the whole package that includes total body massage and brow wax and nails I think ... My friend had that and she loved it .
