In Short – Replacing longtime fave Jones Bar is no easy feat, although Club Four promises its patrons a chic nightlife spot; from the exposed brick of the warehouse-style interior to the in-house "swing girl." Sleek couches and neon-lit glass tables create intimate seating areas while the main bar area provides ample people watching. This has changed Four to a spot for techno & house lovers; for both the dancers & the loungers. Last night dj played great techno, the place got packed, and free shots :) Sultry swinger, devine dancer, super staff!!!

Nice spot, Not so hot music

Went down on a saturday night for a friend's b-day, got in for free. I liked the look of the inside, bartenders were quick, cute girl swinging above the bar (but only for less than five minutes), and a nice size dance floor, not crowded (actually a little empty), drinks are a lil pricey but the norm for downtown. Restrooms are clean, liked the lounge room, perfect parking area, steep staircase so don't get too tipsy and try to walk down!
The dancer near the window needs more energy, she didn't look happy to be there, the dj was using out played and old music, then the music would stop for a few seconds and a new song would start! I think he needs to learn how to mix. I did not dance not one song! And I was in a party mood, for me, that's saying something! My friends and I left early and headed down Main St. and found a better atmosphere.
If the music isn't putting out a great party vibe, then there is not point in being there.

I used to be a downtown guru but after the Super Bowl, the clubs seem to lack admission standards. Dress codes stopped being enforced and it seemed more about the money than the customer's ambiance. Club 4 has revived this area. I received impeccable service in a friendly atmosphere. The clientele is an above 25 professional crowd. The music catered to the crowd and even the bar manager of the club chatted with me. It seemed lke a "Cheers" but in a club atmosphere. I DEFINITELY recommend checking out this scene!
