Editorial Review for Whiskey Creek – by Andrea Loera

In Short
Expect a Midtown-type crowd of sexy singles in designer jeans (and the occasional black hat) at this country-themed dance club. Saloon stylings and cowboy-friendly decor (while decidedly less gritty than some Houston-area honky tonks) adds to the Old West theme while ice cold beer and top-shelf cocktails fuel the rowdy crowd. An in-house DJ makes sure the dance floor is perennially packed. Frequent events like dueling pianos and live bands keeps things exciting.

I had a blast at whiskey creek!! They played a great varity of music, and although it was completely packed, pretty much everyone was friendly. They door guys were not stuck up, there werent insane lines, the bar was insanely crowded so it did take awhile to get a drink, but thats with anywhere in midtown. I recommend trying it out.

Pros: good music, fun crowd

Cons: crowded bar

Wonderful, even if you don't like country! Really neat concept and decor with a good mixture of music you can move to. Not your run-of-the-mill pretentious club in Midtown. This place is actually fun and the bartenders are friendly! A+ you have to try it at least once, even if you're like me, and you don't listen to any country music at all.

Pros: Friendly staff, fun atmosphere

Cons: Parking

Upscale and urban country and western bar for some live music and boot scootin' in Midtown.  See the full editorial review.
