Excellent Service!

I've been to Leonardo's three times now and I must say, the food is great, atmosphere is awesome, and the chef is a very entertaining. Yesterday night was somewhat slow; however, this allowed the head chef, Terrence, to come out to the bar and entertain us with a variety of conversation topics. I was quite suprized to have had such delightful company. For a place I've rarely ever visited, the staff sure made me feel as if I were at home in my own dining room.
- Pros: Great service and good food!
- Cons: It was a little slow for my tastes, but fun none the less!
Bad Italian Food

What happened to this place? It has gone downhill??.it has fallen so far that there is no way to describe how good it once was and how bad it is now.
This has been my family?s favorite Italian Restaurant for about 2 years. We went there for birthdays, our 25 wedding anniversary, and any time we wanted to celebrate something with a good meal.
Well, we made reservations for New Years Eve. The place is crowded?..which is a first for us.
Instead of giving details (not mediocre, not almost good, must be a bad night) of the worst food we have had in Houston.....I will keep it brief.
We ordered 3 different salads and they were all the same?which was some chopped up lettuce and tomatoes with balsamic vinegar?..no olive oil. We shrugged it off and laughed and said that they can?t get it right all the time.
The entrees were so bad?? that there is now way it could be the same chef. Their alfredo WAS as good as any ?..anywhere. Tonight?..it was basically pasta in milk with some frozen shrimp (you know, the big bag of ready to eat cooked frozen shrimp that you buy at Sam?s). My daughter?s ravioli was also floating in milk and my wife?s veal was leather and lemon.
It makes me sad that this place ??which was so good is now so bad.
- Pros: Nice place........good location
- Cons: Food was so bad.......words cannot explain.
Italian cuisine with a custom flare in Sugarland

My wife and I met another couple out for dinner and drinks at Leonardo's on Dec 22nd. We had a great time accomodated by the friendly staff and the kitchen prepared some custom ordered ribeye steaks that were cooked to perfection. The Leonardo's Special pasta dish had an incredibley unique sauce and was sumptuous. Terrific location, heart-healthy food, varied wine list, and a classy ambiance all make this dining spot a winner. We highly recommend you give Leonardo's a try - you won't be dissappointed. Guys, great place to take the wife / girlfriend if you need to have a conversation. Also, would be a geat place to host a special event or dinner - manager will tailor a menu to fit any taste. Owner from NY - you'll get to meet him. Merry Christmas !
