I am extremely content with how my hair turned out. Caitlyn is absolutley amazing! My hair looks softer, shinier and more beautiful after my experience at Msalon. I have not been this happy with my hair ever until now:) Thank you Caitlyn! You have me locked in as your client for good!

Very talented hairdresser; professional salon. I recently moved to Houston from London, UK and was a little nervous as I had been using the same salon for nearly 3 years! However, I have now visited M Salon twice and have been delighted with the results both times. Chris Do is an exceptionally talented stylist - listens to what you have to say but gives his opinion, and despite making it all look so effortless, the end result is top class. I recently went for the plunge and had a short, pixie-ish cut with a sweeping fringe, and it's testament to Chris' skill that my fiance, not a fan of short hair, absolutely loves it and wants me to keep it for our wedding.

The rest of the salon is slick, and yes I had a minor wait before my second appointment but I would expect this in a popular salon on a Saturday, and I was happy sitting with my magazines and coffee given to me. Really recommend this salon.

I'm not quite sure what I'll do when I return to the UK...I think the only option is to win the lottery and fly Chris over every 6 weeks.

Just what I needed. I've had 2 haircut/color with Chris. I love it! By far the best haircut and color that I've ever had. He really listened to what I wanted, but helped me come up with a new style.

M salon: Overpriced and Under-serviced. I made a first time visit to get a men's haircut after reading the reviews on this website. I'd consider myself to be a pretty conservative guy and this was clearly not my place. The first thing you'll notice as you walk in the door is that tatoos outnumber the number of clients. Artsy, new age music was blaring in the background and most of the staff was dressed like something out of a 1980's Madonna video. I was met at the door by a character describing herself as the stylist's assistant, making me half expect to see Martin Short offer to cut my car. The young lady who did the cutting was polite and professional. After the cut, which was fine, she just finished. She didn't blow dry it, didn't comb it - just asked me if I wanted any "product", and when I said no, pulled the sheet off and that was it. I wasn't expecting a massage but sending me out of the shop without even brushing my hair back in place, or offering me a mirror to see the cut wasn't reasonable. What was even more unreasonable was the price - $65!! I know it's a nice part of town and all, but let's face it, they're right across the street from Costco, my stylist will not be working on anyone from Hollywood, and the service was subpar at best. Where's the justification for this exhorbitant price? Guys, save your money and go to a nice barber.

Veronica is a wonderful stylist and colorist!!!. I have been going to Veronica at M Salon since moving to Houston. She did an amazing job with my color, highlights and cut. Everytime I get my hair done I feel like a new woman. She intuitively knows the kind of cut that will look good on people. She has a great personality, is friendly and energetic. I highly recommend Veronica to anyone that wants a great look.

Amazing, trustworthy stylist, Veronica. I'm a guy who goes for a cut that's slightly preppy-ish and rather conservative overall. Here's the catch: I have thick, dark wavy hair, which begins to curl if long enough, and frizzes out of control pretty easily. So when I moved to Houston earlier this year I cautiously began the search for a good place with a good stylist who'd know how to handle this well. I had heard about M Salon and read flawless reviews. But one in particular which mentioned Veronica immediately motivated me to give this place a try.

Veronica is great. She's smart, friendly, and very warm. I have now gone to her several times because she's a good listener and arrives at a quick, good, straightforward understanding of what I want my hair to look like, and how to best achieve it. Because she is so knowledgeable and has had solid training in modern methods, she is able to draw on different techniques and tricks up her sleeve to tame my hair, correct for any of its particular tendicies, and arrive at polished, natural look; one, that I should add, lasts easily for over a month or two!

It feels great that I'm able to sit back and trust my stylist fully. I absolutely recommend her.

My Go To Salon. I was looking for a new salon closer to home and read a lot of great reviews on CitySearch about M Salon and their talented stylists. From all the reviews, I ended up choosing Chris...mainly because I've never had a guy cut my hair before & I wanted to try something different. And he did not disappoint. Meeting him for the first time, you can tell that he's an artist. He's definitely got a swagger about him and exudes a certain kind of confidence that really comes out when he's cutting your hair. Really friendly, easy to talk to, and not to mention easy on the eyes. :) He listens to what you have to say and immediately has suggestions for what would compliment you and would be easy to manage (which was what I really wanted). I am so happy with the way he cut my hair and how it was styled. My hair has body, movement and has an effortless style and ease to it that I love. This place has been a great find but the greatest find of all was Chris. Will definitely come back for many more times to come. =D

CHRIS' INNOVATION AND SKILL IS UNMATCHED. I've been a client of Chris Do's for a year. He greets you with a smile and a hug, and you leave the same way (mainly because he's hilariously sarcastic). His honesty, versatility, and complete understanding of hair will keep me coming back for years. He can do edgy or glamourous, but keeps everything modern. I let him have artistic freedom and he never disappoints...the compliments I receive after a fresh cut are the proof.

Excellent Men's Haircut by Veronica. Having changed jobs to a new part of town, I was looking for a new person to cut my hair. I found M Salon on citysearch, and was very pleased. Veronica did a wonderful job with my haircut -- a basic, conservative men's cut. M Salon impressed me with their customer service. Veronica took her time, and made sure that I was happy several times through the cut.

GREAT SALON. IVE BEEN GOING TO M SALON EVER SINCE IT OPENED AND I LOVE JUST AS MUCH NOW AS I DID THEN.CAITLYN ALWAYS DOES MY HAIR HOW I WANT IT. SHE IS THE BEST!!! I GO TO HER EVERYTIME!!! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SALON ROCKS. THE ATMOSPHERE, MUSIC,SERVICE, AND PRODUCTS ARE GREAT. THIS SALON TAKES PRIDE IN THERE WORK AND IT ALWAYS SHOWS. THEY ARE ALWAYS UP TO DATE IN THE NEW HAIR TRENDS AND TECHNIQUES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE.
