I called & ordered a gift certificate for a friend's birthday who lived near the salon (I live out of town). A week later she had not received it. I called to check and they said they were just mailing it out. Their excuse? They "don't normally mail gift cards". This was not told to me at time of purchase, they did not apologize or call to tell me about the delay and they could not explain the delay in sending it out. I suspect if I hadn't called they would not have sent the gift card at all. When confronted on the phone, the manager acted as if I were to blame. Buyer beware!!! This place does not care about customer service. Their actions were irresponsible and unethical. I am going to suggest my friend use her gift card at another massage envy.
Cons: Dishonest staff with poor customer service skills.

I did not have a good experience here. The atmosphere was great and I was really excited as I waited for my massage. That's where it all went bad. My therapist's phone was ringing during the massage and she actually answered it. Then, during the remainder of the massage she kept sighing (loudly) as if was just completely bored with my massage. It was hard to try to relax and I did not enjoy the experience. I have had a lot of massages and this was the worst. I was going to talk to the receptionist when it was over but she was on the phone and had my therapist take my payment. So, after I left, I called back and told her about my experience and asked to speak to a manager. No return call. I called two other times and told what happened (expecting a refund, or massage with a different therapist) and never heard back from anyone. I was very dissapointed with this massage experience and will not go back nor will I recommend it to a friend.
Pros: Great atmosphere
Cons: Bad experience, managers don't follow up on complaints
