Don't step foot in shop, Don't let the facade fool you!

I was referred to this shop through GEICO as one of thier preferred partners.
He's the laundry list to validate my claim:
First, after receiving my write up from GEICO, I asked Bill Fogle to do a write up indepedent of the claim to understand how they would repair my BMW. After requesting this twice over the phone, I gave up on pursuing it further. If you have to ask twice for something that two other GEICO shops will happily provide, why bother with this one??? Their response was don't worry, we'll sort it through with GEICO, and you need not worry. I also got a sense they were hiding something. Which makes me think, "what's hiding under a potential surface job I get with them?" hmmmmm!
I was also told they were the body shop for Alex Rodriguez Mercedes accross the Freway from them. Upon calling Alex Rodriguez, I found out they refer to another body shop in Clear Lake and one in Houston but NOT Bill Fogle. I spoke to 2 service mechanics that don't even compete with Bill Fogle and they kept mum on thier comments and responded that they had nothing positive to say. This is one of 4 big body shops owned by Bill Fogle, you are just a number to them, so don't expect exceptional customer service or integrity in work done. I would not risk taking my luxury car or even complicated work there given this initial experience.
- Pros: Clean shop, big shop, right off freeway
- Cons: no customer service, little willingness to work with you to meet your car's expectations.
