“will be happy to give up the fancy high pressure car dealerships with coffee bars and overpriced cars in order to save the $5,000.00 that I saved with Texas Direct Auto and I was treated with nothing less than the utmost respect and my Suburban was simp”
“This is without a doubt the best place in the Country to buy a vehicle!”
“am not the type of person that normally writes reviews when something goes right because I expect good service, but I feel compelled to do so in this case.”
“Best price, worst communication, GM Ed Williams is rude and contentious”
I LOVE MY MINI!!!! This experience was awesome and alot of fun. This is not your typical dealership, nor are their employees. Turbo was my guy, and he was super! No pressure, straight forward, and he listined to what I wanted. Of course I did my research, and I had been eyeing my mini for a minute. It was a blessing that it was even still there, their inventory moves quickly. I had no problems getting it financed, even though my credit is so-so. FYI when buying a used car, pray about it first :) Let God guide you, he knows your needs and he is faithful.
They will rip you off - they still owe me money. Best to go in there with your own financing. Don't let them finance.
bought a 2004 Mercedes and within two weeks got a check engine light. Turs out Texas Direct missed $576 worth of maintenance needed! #screwyouoverlikeotherusedcarlots
oh were do I start? Texas Direct Auto is horrible...I went in to TDA and was assigned a sales man by the front desk his name was tim...tim was awsome. we found a truck that we liked and right away started the application process and we were approved (so says the finance lady kelly sarafin) well later she comes back with ...well the bank backed out you have to find a cheeper car with a better black book value...so we did and by this time it was late so she told us to come back in the morning to finish up paper work. so the next morning we get there only to find out tim was off today and we got adopted by another sales man named Eric who was horrible and again a problem with the vehicle we chose so back to step 1 we picked out another vehicle and this time they get an approval(so says kelly) and we ask to drive the vehicle and mysteriously they lost it they cant find this truck anywhere. by this time I have had it we spent 2 and a half days at this place and for what so they can make us buy something we didnt want! the very next day I went to a local dealer and bought a new truck got approved in 30 min and signed papers and was on my way all within an hour. TEXAS DIRECT AUTO IS A BIG FAT JOKE!!!!!!
Car was purchased, next day broke down, and I found out it was never serviced by Texas Direct Auto. Drove home to find out there was $2000 worth of repairs to be performed on vehicle purchased. Called the service tech Mike, at TDA, and he said the truck was NEVER serviced prior to selling it to me. So with my kids in the car, I was driving an unsafe vehicle due to a leaking master brake cylinder and fuel pressure sensor from which the car had NEVER been serviced before they sold it to me, hence all the repairs on the car. I called Stephanie customer service rep the next day, waited another day for response, to have them reimburse me for the faulty brake system repair bill of $2000. She said Texas Direct Auto will not cover the repairs, because I didnt tell them about the problems, first, before the car was repaired. I just purchased the vehicle the day before, and yet they will NOT cover any of the repairs! Do not do business with the people. Take your business elsewhere.
My fiance and I just recently bought a car from Texas Direct Auto, our experience was OVER THE TOP! The best car buying experience that we have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Right when we walked into Texas Direct Auto, we new this was going to be a great place. There staff was very friendly, the environment was very kid friendly. The building was easy to find, very clean and very updated. They had a indoor play area for children that my 5 1/2 year old just absolutely LOVED! WE will definitely be going back to Texas Direct Auto for any other car purchases. TEXAS DIRECT AUTO REALLY IS THE DEALER FOR THE PEOPLE! NO JOKE!!!!
Having been a long time Houstonian, and
personal experiences in the past... My wife was dead set on buying from TDA. Long story short, I convinced her that I'd do the footwork and wanted to take a look at a used minivan they had online.
I popped in unannounced after emailing a sales rep over the weekend. Low and behold the sales rep who answered my email on a Sunday was the one to greet me at the office.
Before he took me to see the van, he told me about another van that they just took in on Friday. I said I'd look at it, but I was not a fan of the Town and Country
He took me across the dealership property to the back where they were going to inspect the van. Turns out the van was just too small for my growing family of 7.
We swung back by and looked at the Town and Country. I was impressed, nice ride. He filled up the tank and let me have it for a test drive, take it to my mechanic and finally to show my wife.
Our sales rep was absolutely awesome and made the entire experience enjoyable so much so that we bought the Town and Country van from him. The entire process was about as stress free as I could have ever wanted and we ended up with a great deal!
I would buy from TDA again! 20 year experience in knowing how to treat his clients shows!
We do not recomend the salesman Moises. He was not helpful and he was rude. We had to call manager to make things happen.
Bought a 2007 Mercedes ml350 a few days
ago. Took it to a dealership- there's a power steering pump leak, rear shocks are leaking and font and rear pads and rotors are in major need of repair. $4000 of repairs- . Mine came with a 3 day buy back guarantee so I asked it to be repaired or I will sell back. Haven't heard yet but I will update my review if it changes.....
. Just saw my car posted back online on auto trader for sale so not likely. They need to be more concerned with quality rather than quantity
Dream Came True!. I purchased my dream car, a white BMW Z4 from Texas Direct Auto. I found them thru eBay. Marcus Guilbeau was my personal rep. and he made it easy. When there was a glitch, he was proactive in getting it resolved. A great experience and I would purchase from them again. DREAMS DO COME TRUE!
