Would most certainly recommend Nelson Pools. All the folks that will build a pool charge about the same price, but Nelson's puts quality pumps, filters, pH control, pool liners and so forth, and that makes them stand out. We got a Saline pool and love it. Smaller company but they check up often to make sure all is going in right.

Awesome experience with new pool. Everything from the design to the construction was positive. Dave and Dane were always responsive and their knowledge, resources and experience enabled us to begin enjoying a very classy and quality pool in a timely manner. Kudos to them and their design team. I would highly recommend them for any swimming pool projects.

My Backyard Paradise!!!!.
Nelson Pools did our remodle on our pool!! We cannot say enough how happy we were and still are with our own " Backyard Paradise"!! From the very 1st visit to letting us know what all it would intell to do this to the very end they ALL were very kind, curteous, and on the same page as we were. Obviously doing a remod is more difficult than building a new one but, they were up front with us with every single step that would need to be done. The fun part was getting to pick out all of the colors, and shapes and all the stuff we didn't get to do with the 1st time. Shawn Nelson and his wife Shannon (the wonderful designing master mind with great taste!!) are who we dealt with the most but they all were on top of their game from the destruction of the old pool and spa to running new water lines for the new cave and water slide, to each and every single new tile and the beach entry ( My personal Favorite) . If Shawn wasn't available the others knew the answers to our questions. I am very grateful to Nelson Pools for helping us by building our beautiful pool. I would recommend them to anyone that wants their very own Backyard Paradise with out all of the hassle of sales, or others stuff that comes with other pool builders. Thank you to all of you that make Nelson Pools the great company and the great Pool Building Experience that it is!!

New pool. Great pool builder, reliable, honest, & on time. They did everything they said they would. I asked them if they could have the pool done before my son's birthday party and they did. Great people to work with.

Pool installed. When I bought my pool, the owners son asked me to do a review on Nelson Pools when they were finished with my pool. He promised me I would be able to refer them and I am happy to say they went far beyond what we ever expected. I am very pleased with the outcome of our project. The communication from Nelson Pools through out the pool project was excellent and we love our pool and would recommend them.

Best Pool Builder Around. Awesome pool builder! We love our Nelson Pool. It is so beautiful and they did an awesome job. Very dependable, very honest, friendly people. They did what they said they would do when building the pool. It was done within 30 days. They are very detailed with their work, care about how we wanted certain things. And I am very picky person but they were awesome to work with. We recommend them to everyone. You will be very pleased with your experience.

Pool Install. Wow, what an experience..we love our pool that Nelson Pool Installed in Feb 2012. David Nelson was always there when we had concerns, which was once. And the concern we had was taken care of right away, and it wasnt a cheap concern. We was unhappy with the stone that was installed around waterfall, the color,nothing no one did just didnt like color... he removed it completely and redone it...AT NO CHARGE to us....the only problem i have with our pool is that i dont have enough time to spend in it...so for all the negative comments, im sure there is alot more good than bad. If only the good ones would post comments ....but unfortunately most people only want to post when they have a complaints....So as for me and my family we LOVE our POOl....Thanks David Nelson and all the people who work for you....Good Job....

Nelson Pools.
Beware and spend your money anywhere else but here! Dave Nelson is a liar, condescending deceiving individual and should not be in bussiness. None ouf our issues have been resolved, get ready to deal with his subcontractors or suppliers as he washes his hands off responsibility. Customer Service? what's that. May end up contracting someone else to get issues properly resolved as there is no confidence he will come through.
Don't expect warranties to stick as they cut corners with installation everywhere they can. If you ask Nelson he'll say he doesnt care what the manufacturer recommends, "he" carries the warranty... one year! then its all yours! Do not get conned into doing businnes with them please don't make the same mistake we did.IT WILL COST YOU MORE IN THE LONG RUN.

BEWARE!!. A one rating is too high. Don't make the same mistake. Others told us to stay away and we did not listen. We got lured in by their lower bid. They notoriously under bid their competitors in the area. View this as a red flag not a good thing. You will spend more in the long run. Ignore the A- BBB rating. Unfortunately it is sometimes easier to pay someone else to fix the issues so complaints go unreported or appear resolved. Some complaints are resolved but not proactively only with lots of phone calls and arm twisting. There BBB rating should be an F.

Nelson Pools out of Porter Texas don't do business with them. After signing a contract with this company they will hit you up for more money they put nothing in writing then expect you to pay whatever they want. They called me today at 6:00 A.M. to tell me that they were not going to finish our pool. We have paid them $ 72,500.00 already and now the pool is unfinished and Mr. Dave Nelson informed me that they will not be fininshing our pool so off to my attorney and to the BBB we go and I suggest checking out the BBB and listen what they have to say before entering into any contract. It's a shame how the pool industry is monitored and now see who gets the final bill to finish my pool. Nelson you are a crook and I hope everyone reads this like my entire subdivision will. You are unprofessional and using your soft voice doesn't work with me , it;s just a ploy to act like yo are a honest businessman......NOT
