Be Prepared for the Deep Tissue Massage.
When I showed up at the building, I wasn't expecting much. The day spa is one of many leased office spaces in a nondescript building; however, the interior of the shop is nice and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the deep tissue massage I received from Mary. The therapy started with acupressure on the feet. Mary then proceeded to walk on my back by hanging from a bar fixed to the ceiling. I've never in my life experienced this and always thought it was hokey but I'm a believer. Mary's so adept that many times I couldn't tell if she was using her hands or feet. For those icked out by the thought of someone's feet on their back, don't be worried, you're under a thin sheet the entire time. After she walked on my back, she pulled the sheet down and worked on my back, arms and legs with her hands. It was very good. In the past, my biggest complaint has been that my therapists always had "light" hands and couldn't work the knots out of my back to my satisfaction. Not so with Mary. I left the place slightly sore (like I had a good workout) and went to sleep when I got home. I woke up thoroughly refreshed. My back definitely feels better. I recommend this place to those looking for a no-frills, no holds barred deep tissue massage.
